I made multiple payments to BUDDYS helping someone else out that fell on hard times. I do not have an account nor do I have, own or rent anything from BUDDYS! My card was somehow placed on auto pay with no authorization! I called to ask how and why was my card placed on AUTO PAY and monies being drafted.. (and drafted days early might I add) I was informed that since my card had been used previously it was placed on auto pay. I asked were they given authorization! Chase stated I don’t know! “How our system works since it was the last card used it was placed on Auto Pay”! I still didn’t understand so the more I asked him to explain or had a rebuttal he became extremely rude agitated. I can’t lie because at this point I’m heated this isn’t even my account or property. I asked to speak to a manager I believe his name was DAVE or DAVID! He was just as rude and as a matter of fact as Chase! He pretty much gave the same answer which was the account holders card on file declined so MY card was put on file…(again with no authorization)… he eventually hangs up in my face. Hours later I go to the store to see if someone can explain this to me. At the front desk was the sales Manager VERONICA who was just as rude and nasty as the other two! For me it’s not about the money it’s about the PRINCIPLE AND THE DISRESPECT . I was unable to get an answer after several attempts. I don’t believe the customer is always right (hell I wasn’t even the customer I was just helping someone out)but we definitely deserve answers and respect!
