🔴UPDATE 4/7/2023 🔴 I gave this store location 4 star rating at first because I never ran into a problem....until today. I work for Instacart, so I'm in HEB a lot. Most of the time it's for 2-3 customers at 1 time, so my carts are normally full. I went thru self checkout today because some of the sackers in the regular lanes misplace items, then I have to go searching for it when a customer say their missing something.

The guy working the self-check had to help with an error after I moved my bag too soon. As I went to explain what I thought caused the problem, he just grunted and walked away mid-sentence like I was lying or trying skip scanning an item. So disrespectful.

I don't think he understands that I HAVE to scan EVERYTHING and take pictures of the receipt for my customers. I CAN'T skip items, even if I wanted to!!!

I'm not trying to make anyone's job more difficult or stressful as it already is. Every one that comes thru self checkout isn't stealing. He may need to heck his customer service skills, because actions like that makes an innocent person feel guilty...

Great selection of fresh fruits and vegetables as well as your standard grocery items. If you haven't tried their in-house guacamole and salsa you are missing out! Also they have those tasty HEB spicy pickles in the refrigerated section. They also have chocolate donuts in their bakery section. Most places consider a chocolate donut as a regular donut with chocolate on it but these donuts are actually chocolate. Also, I actually like HEB's Creamy Creations ice cream better than the very popular ice cream from Brenham and it is considerably less expensive. One of the worst HEBS I've ever shopped at. The staff are always rude, employees shopping for online orders will completely block aisles and cut off in-store customers. Theres constantly expired products on shelves (sometimes weeks past the expiration date). The butcher department is a joke and clearly doesn't understand how to clean proteins or remove silverskin from cuts of meat. The managers aren't very helpful and the few times I've had an issue with a coupon in the HEB app, before trying to help they just accuse the customer of being wrong.
