We went for a late lunch so only one other table was occupied. The first thing two of us noticed was the strong smell of cleaning chemicals. My child felt a headache come on from it. The woman who served our table was warm and attentive. Neither my husband nor I enjoyed the enchiladas. He got beef and I got shredded chicken. The salsa and guac were amazing. However, the main irritation was that they charged $1.55 when my husband asked for jalapenos for his nachos. This was not mentioned as an extra cost and is usually free. They also charged $1.99 extra for his queso on his enchiladas but they at least mentioned that would be an upcharge and we were prepared for it. The special of the day was advertised as $7.99 but our receipt says we were charged $8.23. I ordered nothing extra to increase the price. Sad to I had to do this because I enjoy the sold de Mexico location by 21. Showed up lady takes for ever to take order. Has an attitude from the start. I ordered a menudo because like I said the menudo at the other location has always been good. After taking the first taste i know that I didn’t like it. I told the lady that there was something about this menudo that I didn’t like and I asked her to take it away. She asked me if I wanted anything else and added that I would still have to pay for the menudo since the manager had tasted it and didn’t see any problem with it. Of course a $8.00 isn’t that big of a deal but you don’t tell a coustumer what is good and what isn’t. I’ve gone to the first location for over 6 years now and never had a problem over any of the food. The moral of the story is horrible coustumer service and the make matters worst there was 2 other ppl complaining on the food quality. I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANY ONE. Food was only ok. The issue is I order 2 tacos, wife 2 tacos and when I went to pay I waited for 10 mins and then went and sat back down Waited a few mins and then went back. Still Noone stopped to ring me up just walked by and looked at me. The third time I went up she said sorry sir ill help you and rang me up and it was 48 dollars. I said ma'am that to much for 4 tacos and water to drink. She said sorry ill fix it and said it 15.68. I gave her my card and she charged it handed me the ticket and walked off.
