I love the food and have eaten there a handful of times, but I can't eat there after my last experience a few months ago. I was in the "to-go" line about three cars back. A lady was outside taking orders. She was pleasant. I paid for my food there. After my order I waited for 10 minutes for the first vehicle to get their food. Then another 10 for the next vehicle to get their food. When I pulled up. I sat there for 15 minute (yes I timed it). No one said anything to me. There were two people learning the new? POS system. After 15 minutes I knocked on the window. Both of them looked over. I waved, and they just waved back and started getting back to the priority of learning the POS system. Finally another worker was walking by and I knocked again. She was pleasant again, and said that the cook just put my food in the fryer and it will be out shortly. I told her to forget about it and just give me my money back. So I sat there for after I placed my order for 35 minutes and they then just started cooking my food. The people are nice, and the food is good, and that's why I didn't give them 1 star. They have to know to update the customer. If they're short staffed that night then say "sir, I'm sorry, but we're short staffed and it will take longer than expected to get your food out." Update the customer, show them that you care, and respect them by your actions, not solely your words. But when a manager is standing right next to the window learning/teaching a new POS system and they can see that I'm upset, and they hear me ask for my money back, but they don't bother coming over and talking to me, or apologizing, shows me a...
Read moreThis is the best cajun seafood place in Bryan, hands down. If you're looking for awesome seafood and the FRESHEST, BEST CRAWFISH IN TOWN, skip Shipwreck's and Yesterday's, just make a bee line here. It's a small hole in the wall place that looks super unassuming from the outside: ignore that. On the inside, it is clean and well organized with a super friendly staff. Their crawfish is seasoned with EXCELLENCE, coming straight from the boiler. They give you free spices and butter dip on the side that are to die for, and the potatoes and corn are seasoned just as well. A true authentic flavor and high quality crawfish, like any cookout crawfish boil. Honestly, I am so glad this place exists to give me a crawfish fix. The crawfish has no entrails if that matters. I have not tasted their other offerings but given the quality of their crawfish and service, I do expect their fried catfish, shrimp, and other seafood offerings to be just as good (and many reviews on Yelp and Facebook claim that to be so). OMG Seafood does not disappoint, truly makes you want to say OMG. So go support a new local restaurant! On account of complaints about waiting, what do you expect for a hot new restaurant with small square footage? Sure it sucks, but at least customer service is always nice...
Read moreI just ordered The aggie bag, the Aggie special bag and also a pound of crab legs. I would’ve took a picture but it smelled so good that I ate it before the picture could be taken. If I could write five reviews I would do five reviews over and over again. This place is like a hidden gem and I’ve been going here for as long as they’ve been open as many times as I can. I really love the seafood here and I hope that they stay here forever. This is one of the one seafood places in town that will give you the best value for food. I got three clusters of king crab for 1 pound. Most seafood restaurants skimp on your food this one definitely doesn’t. The other seafood place in College Station that’s all right but not as good as this place is called juicy crawfish and you can tell the difference between the size of the shrimp and the quality of the shrimp the each restaurant has I actually went to both restaurants one day and I ordered a pound of shrimp to see the size difference and the one in College Station is smaller. I like both restaurants but if you want to quality...
