Radio-Active Mobile Electronics — Local services in Buffalo

I am disappointed I cannot recommend Radio-Active of Buffalo. I drove from the Twin Cities to this shop upon the recommendation from a trusted mechanic. I needed my radio repaired. Unfortunately, this shop was not equipped to repair the radio at the time but I could understand, as there seemed to be a possible shortage of skill. When my car was returned to me, I had noted some side swipe-like scratches or scrape on the rear passenger door. I did not see this damage before coming to this shop so I thought to ask them if they knew of any incidents.

To my dismay, the owner came out screaming at me, accusing me of some type of fraud and ranting about his life insurance policy. I was appalled and I did not feel safe as he appeared dangerous and threatening. If they had not damaged the car, a cordial exchange would have been appropriate.

Customers should always have their cars returned in the condition it came in. I sincerely apologize IF I accused them of doing something they did not. I am suspicious. However, based on how violently the owner behaved and the general lack of competence displayed by this shop, I cannot ethically recommend Radio-Active to any prospective car audio enthusiast. I am sure it is my bad luck but I had them put a sub woofer in and I had to go back 3 times to get the ground wire connected correctly so it would work. The installer was very rude and short. Was not my fault he did not install so that it would not come loose. People in front seem to be nice and try, so I gave them another shot and had them install a remote start. It worked for 1 month and quit. I was told antennae was bad, and they never go bad. They got me another antennae in 5 days and just went and had it replaced. I was somewhat excited that they got it that fast. They had the installer come out and put it in. He did not say a word to me just took the keys and put it in. He just put his arm out with the keys as he walked by me and I just had to take them. He did not say a word or look at me, he just headed back to his stall like I was a huge bother. I went on the internet and started researching how much it would cost and how easy it would be to do. I found Radio Active right here in Buffalo and contacted them through their website. Within a few minutes of sending my message they got back to me and answered all of my questions. They're very professional and very friendly. I booked my

appointment and arrived at the shop at my scheduled time and again was greeted with a high level of professionalism and great customer service. I was immediately offered something to drink and shown to an area of the store where I could watch TV while I waited. The install of my automatic start went fast. My son has expressed interest in getting an upgraded deck for his new car and I will most definitely be recommending Radio Active for the installation of the new deck. Thank you for everything...
