We brought an iPad in for a screen replacement, which was fine. Had no problems until the screen cracked only two months after replacing it. The crack started right at the home button and then spider webbed from there. This was never dropped, we never did anything to cause this crack.
When we brought it in a second time we were told they could not warranty it because of the damage! We respectfully tried to fight this because it was at no fault of our own. We were only offered a discount of 15%. After the second repair we picked it up and had to pay FULL PRICE after being offered a discount!!! If this wasn't bad enough the home button practically fell out of it the moment we brought it home. After we brought it in YET AGAIN we had to wait five days for them to repair something they didn't fix properly in the first place. After receiving it back for the third time, the outside edges of the screen are so gunked with glue I cannot even put on a screen protector.
I had high hopes after the first visit, but after every experience after that I would never recommend this place, and definitely will not be bringing my business...

The tech behind the counter asked for my phone number and I gave him my home number (landline, that some if us still have). Didn't explain to me that this needed to be a cellphone number and that the only way of communication between them and myself about my repair would be via text only. Or scan this QR code. I had asked the tech how long it would take them to diagnose the problem and he said maybe a day or two. So I waited for a phone call from then for 5 days and no call. So I sat down and reread the sheet of paper they handed me when I dropped it off. Finally I realized they are never going to call me with their diagnosis. So I finally called them and gave them my cell number instead. Within minutes I received a text from Techmate about their diagnosis for my computer from 3 days prior. If only they had explained to me up front that the phone number I provided needed to be a cell number. Could have gotten my computer back a lot sooner. Unfortunately, the service fell short of expectations. Not only did they fail to complete several tasks they had promised, but they also improperly installed a water cooler, which subsequently caused damage to the motherboard.
As a result, I had to purchase a new motherboard. When I returned to the shop seeking assistance, I was disappointed to learn that I would need to pay additional costs for them to install the replacement part—despite the fact that the issue stemmed from their mistake.
This experience has been incredibly frustrating. I always strive to give businesses the benefit of the doubt and initially left a 5-star review, but the way this situation was handled has forced me to reconsider. It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review, but this definitely left a sour taste...
