I rarely leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others. I hired [Company Name] to install a home movie theater system, which came with a warranty that was supposedly comprehensive. The installation itself went fine—though not exactly on schedule—but the real issue began when the equipment started having problems just a few months later.

Despite the warranty clearly covering the type of issue we experienced (a faulty projector and sound syncing problems), the company refused to honor it. I was given the runaround for weeks—multiple phone calls, ignored emails, and broken promises to send someone out. When I finally reached someone, I was told the problem was somehow “user error” and therefore not covered. That’s complete nonsense.

If a company offers a warranty, they should stand by it. Instead, I was left with expensive equipment that doesn’t work properly and zero support from the people who installed it. My family has had a relationship with KCO since 2016. They performed all low voltage wiring in our new home build in 2017 (security, ethernet, wifi access, coax, in ceiling speakers, mounting TVs). They installed all the hardware for the home sound system as well. They really are a one-stop shop for all A/V needs. Also, as the house was being built they even installed conduits so if we were to expand at some point, the access would be there to run cables, etc…which proved extremely valuable during a basement build, FROG renovation during 2020. For our basement build they set up a movie room with screen, projector, 7.1 sound, all seamless and integrated. Also mounted in ceiling speakers and systems for the entertaining area. We experienced a break in at our home in Athens and we reached out to KCO on a Friday night of a holiday weekend and we were given priority treatment so we could feel a sense of security again. Alan kept in constant contact with us the entire 4th of July weekend via text/calls and built us a package to ensure our comfort in going home again. He even arranged for installation the next business day. We would recommend KCO to anyone over the big brand security firms because they offer a personal touch from a cohesive team who takes a genuine interest in your safety...
