This place is great. In a desert of family fun events this place is an oasis. Yes they need updating, but I'm not complaining. They have go-carts with a secured track and fencing, batting cages, arcade games for those into that, simple food (like you would find at an entertainment center for kids, and amazing mini golf courses. This place would be worth it simply for the mini golf.
The staff is minimal, so it's hard sometimes to find some help. A lot of the attractions at this venue are self serve, except for the start.
The mini golf courses are well tended. They are clean and in most cases in good repair. Both 18 hole courses have a variety of hazards and obstacles like, sand pits, rock sinks, challenging curves, and plenty of ponds that are very easy to enter. There are nets to retrieve your balls which is made easier by using floating balls. The surrounding for these courses is amazing, saturated in trees; pines, palms, etc... (enough to forget your in the desert) For $5-$7 these 36 holes are a great way to spend an hour with your kids.
I would love to see this place expand into more family fun activities. They nearly have a monopoly in this area.
Update June 2023:
The greens on the golf course are starting to be repaired. The first 18 are in good condition, the second 18 holes are still needing repair.
The ball retrieving nets have been removed. You can still retrieve with your club it's a bit more time consuming and children enjoyed using the nets.
The lights on the courses are largely broken (either not working or physically destroyed).
This place is still the best you're going to find...
Read moreThis place is closed for renovation till August 8 2015 but it was ok. We were there for my son's birthday. A little pricey but reasonable as long as they don't over book to many birthday parties like they did on the day we were there. (3 other big birthday party's plus ours) Downsides: The big go cart track only has 1 two seater car working, so taking the older kids who are to tall for the kiddies track & not tall enough to ride alone on the big track was a pain. We had to wait a long time to go with each kid. AKA spent most of the time we were there in line. They also have poor staff where most of the staff don't want to attend to their jobs.We had to constantly wait to ask for workers to turn on the batting cages & the go carts. In my opinion they are understaffed and most of the ones that work there obviously don't have any enthusiasm or compassion for their jobs. We spent over $400 for 2 hours to wait in line and constantly track down their own help. If you do decide to go only take a few kids like 2 to 4. We had a party of 12 & with the other party's, there were about 100...
Read moreWe took our 6 year old here to celebrate his birthday since we do not have anything like this in Lake Havasu and it was well worth the drive! The prices were definitely affordable so we were able to do batting cages, mini golf, and the go carts. Easily spent 2 and a half hours here bu if we would have arrived earlier in the day we could have stayed all day long.
The only thing that I did not like was all the cigarette smoking around the establishment... not to mention the day care being right there around the people smoking worried me some. There were no "No Smoking" signs or anything and it was mostly like a self-service type of deal. I did feel sort of bad for the children at the day care watching everyone enjoy the mini golf right next to them on the other side of the fence while their teacher seemed as if it would've killed her to smile.
Overall, I think it is a great place to have some fun for a well worth it price and enjoyable for just...
