I was stressing about finding a makeup artist for my wedding and I am so glad I found Jessie! She had been tagged in a picture on my venue’s Instagram account and I just happened to click on her profile. I love Jessie! I wish there were more reasons to need to get my hair and makeup professionally done so I could get to work with her more often. I’m not someone that does a full face of makeup very often so I wanted someone that would make sure I would still look like myself on my wedding day. She definitely delivered!

As soon as I reached out she was very responsive and got back to me on all of the questions I had. Our first time working together was for my trial hair and makeup session which I booked for the day of my engagement photoshoot. She suggested we have our appointment early in the morning even though my shoot was going to be later in the day so we could see how well my hair and makeup would hold for the actual wedding day. And boy did it all stay put! Even after a couple hours on a very windy beach for our shoot. I have never had more comfortable false lashes put on me. And they stayed on ALL DAY!

For the actual wedding day, she brought a couple helpers so that they would have time to do hair and makeup for my 3 bridesmaids, 3 sisters, my mom and myself. They arrived right on time and I was ordered to relax, eat, and hydrate until it was my turn, which was very nice. I had some loose guidelines for how I wanted my bridal party to do their hair but it was mostly up to their preferences. Jessie and her team listened to each of them so that everyone would end up with a look they felt comfortable and happy with. And everyone looked so beautiful! Not to mention cohesive without everyone looking exactly the same.

I decided to get lash extensions before my wedding instead of going with false lashes just because I had additional events the day before and day after that I would have to be doing my own makeup for. But that wasn’t a problem for Jessie, she was able to do my eye makeup perfectly anyway. We opted for an updo so it would be out of my way and I wouldn’t be too hot throughout the day. It stayed perfect the entire time even through hours of sweaty dancing. I felt so beautiful on the day of my wedding and I hope I get the chance to work with Jessie again...
