Went in to do a return and the experience was horrible!!! Walked into the store and the lines were at least 8 or more people in two lines. Two customer service managers talking and not even acknowledging that the lines are that long. I walked up to the CSM and asked if she had any more cashier's coming up, she turned looked at me with the ugliest attitude and stated that she had already called a cashier to come help. Well at that time one cashier wasn't enough to help out. In the process of the two CSM'S talking she calls another cashier up to help out. Everyone is register trained at Hobby Lobby so why didn't one of the CSM'S at that point jump on a register to help out real quick. The refund register at number 1 ends up going down, so they moved everyone to register two. By this time it's at least 5 or more people needing a return. They called the Co-Manager Samuel up and he started assisting with the refunds. The first one in line had purchased his items using a Credit Card and as they're processing his return, the customer state's that he is looking at his account and he doesn't see the refund, so Samuel proceeds and gives him a cash refund. The next person does her return and it's no problem. It's my turn and I have some jewelry items to return with my receipt. Samuel immediately ask the Cashier Kalani at that moment, hey what do we have? Now he never asked anyone else about their return but here he is asking about mine, as if what I have isn't legit. He actually looks at my receipt and everything as though it wasn't legit. He didn't do the people before me like that. Okay now they're processing my return and originally when I paid for the items the total was $25.80, I paid $15 cash and the rest on card. The refund total came up to $15.97, Samuel says you have to put that on your card and I responded with no I don't. I paid $15 cash. His response was well we will give you the $15 but the 97 cents will have to go on your card. I asked him are you serious you will not just give me the 97 cents. I used a debit card, wich is the same as cash. His response was NO and I had to have 97 cents refunded back to my card. Hobby lobby what horrible customer service you showed me as customer yesterday. I really hope that you begin to take customer service more seriously because this was by far the worst that I have experienced in a very long time! I will be attaching the original receipt and the refund receipt! Horrible customer service goes to Co- Manager Samuel and the two CSM's...
Read moreI wish I could leave no stars. The manager seemed to not want to be there. She's older like me and pulls her hair back in a ponytail. I found a perfect frame on sale that I noticed was damaged. The gentleman in the framing department told me the manager would more than likely add an additional discount for this reason. When I went up to the register the cashier called for the manager. When she finally arrived, she rudely tells me they do not discount anything that they can fix. I ask how they can fix it because that was the only frame in that size. She rudely tells me that the gentleman should have fixed it and calls him two or three times over the intercom. I found out what the do to fix it. They use a pen the same color as the frame and just color in any dent or damage. The gentleman told her he didn't have a white one to fix it. She disconnects the call and let's out a loud breathe, and looks at the sale paper. She does not acknowledge me and tells the cashier you can give her $3 off which is roughly 10% and walks away. Later, I discussed this with one of my friends and sadly before I even described this woman, she knew exactly who it was. If the management is terrible, how can the people that work under her be happy? I could not believe this lady's behavior. If she would have just said, it's already on sale and I can only give you an additional 10% off. I would not have been upset. I may have even bought it and tried getting some wood filler to repair it myself. I politely declined and bought my new years glasses. Practice what you preach Hobby Lobby...
Read moreI'm a regular craftsman, so I wanted to make something special for my grandmother and other family members for the upcoming holidays. I went to Hobby Lobby after I got off work today with a few ideas in mind but nothing concrete as I wanted to look around and get the best fits for each of them. Well, apparently I must have taken too long to shop so I got profiled as a shop lifter. I had employees follow me around and watch my every move. Being a reasonable person, I finished my shopping without ever being asked if I needed any help. Even other customers noticed the employees watching me so they started acting strange towards me. Then, I went to check out and an employee walks over to the cashier and tells her to read something she wrote on her note pad. Again, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and just casually talked with the cashier. Then, I noticed that she was handing and inspecting everything more than usual. So, I casually mentioned that the store should update it's system so she could scan products in faster than hand typing it all in the register. She looked at me and said she was told to be very thorough with everything I was purchasing. I fully intended to pay for everything I wanted to get and honestly I felt disrespected as well as profiled. As I am a shy person, all of the negative attention was not only embracing but it gave me anxiety as well. I spent $125 that day and I've bought from here many times before but I am not going to be a returning customer after dealing with the...
