So let me re-do this review….I went to the Alamance Crossing location right after Labor Day because my fiancé proposed over the weekend but my ring was too small…so I went in and was waited on by Sonia. She explained that it could take up to 2 weeks for me to get it back, although I was a little bummed, I understood. Me being impatient, I called back 5 days later to check the status lol I was told by the person over the phone what the estimated date was to expect it back…(I won’t go into details of the convo completely) but I didn’t agree with the tone of the person who spoke to me because their response wasn’t as nice and empathetic as I would have liked so it prompted me to write a review…however after speaking with the store manager Katrina, she cleared everything up and explained the whole process to me - I went in to pick up my ring and she was the sweetest to speak with and it was a pleasure to talk with her. A few days ago I noticed my ring slid and shifted a lot so I called the store and spoke with Devon. I asked a question about getting it re-sized again but he made an excellent suggestion and said I could try an adjuster before going that route because our fingers can fluctuate from cold and hot weather (never thought about that!) so I went in the next day and he and Sonia were just the best at explaining how the adjuster worked, and let me know if there were anything else I needed…not to hesitate to let them know. I want to highly thank you Katrina, Sonia and Devon! Read moreI am HIGHLY unhappy with the service I have recently received from Kays. I am getting married in August and so I went online to look for a wedding band, I found one that I LOVED so I tried to buy it and for some reason it would not take. I called customer service and they said it would not go through for inventory reasons and it was out of stock even though the website said it was available. Whatever that's cool, I moved on. I went to the Kays store in Burlington and they were so wonderful and were able to help me! I showed them a different ring online that I liked and so they ordered it online for me! Awesome! Well, I was double charged and so I called customer service again and was told that one was a card hold and it would not go through. But today, I got an email that my purchase was cancelled, so I called to confirm that it was the card hold and not my official purchase to only be told that the ring I bought and was DOUBLE charged for is not in inventory. I've spoken to two different women and they both told me 'sorry we cant help you' and told me I needed to call the bank because a double charge is out of their hands. I told her that the Burlington location had the ring that I ordered online but the item number did not match so they could not price match it in the store, I asked since I bought a ring that they sold out from me if they could price match that one and was told no. I was told however that I could get $25 off my next purchase for the inconvenience. I am so very upset with the poor customer service I've received and that I was sold a ring that is unavailable.
