Mr. Thrift Underpriced Furniture — Local services in Burlington

Update: Regrettably I have to alter the tone of my original review. So we custom ordered a couch and was told it would take 4 weeks. It took 6-8 (we were in the middle of week 7 when it was ready). We paid for delivery ($40, not bad). The delivery was an hour late, with no call about the change, and when they got here for delivery, a man and a woman, the woman immediately started being negative and treating us like we were stupid. Before even touching the couch, she straight up said it wouldn't fit and we'd have to pick a different one. No. We paid for this one, it's exactly what we want. So they pulled it out of the truck, and while getting it through the door was tricky (we had to remove the door and move some other furniture) it made it through. They wouldn't let us help or assist to make things easier. Any idea we had to make things easier was met with an asinine inaccurate lesson about triangles, which was infuriating to say the least, and she just kept repeating the same thing over and over. I don't know about you, but I've never not had an issue getting a couch through a door while moving, but she made the process so much worse. We would've been better of renting a U-Haul and moving it ourselves. We really had a great time in store, everyone was friendly, attentive, and not pushy. The delivery experience killed it for us. We may go back for more furniture in the future, but I doubt we'll ever let them deliver again. That was the absolute worst experience we've ever had with a delivery. Just for the record, if she sees this, yes, the couch fit just fine.

10/10 100% recommended. There is a wide variety of every room furniture for great prices! All new furniture, decor, and furniture accessories! We customized our couch selection to have a dark charcoal pleather (instead of beige, I really don't like beige). They even have fun color options like royal blue, green, purple, and of course your normal colors white, grey, black etc. Custom ordered furniture can take about a month, but you can purchase stuff they already have in stock the same day. Very friendly staff who are exceptionally helpful, but not pushy and in your face. We were not pressured into a sale. It was a very relaxed calm environment and a great shopping experience! We are planning on going back when we redo our bedroom. Family friendly as well. They had an animal scavenger hunt for our 9 year old, and he got a little novelty prize (mini rubix cube). I can't recommend this place...

I just got off the phone needing to replace some cushions for our couch that we bought 3 years ago from MR. Thrift. Beth the manager quickly found my order and then got back to me with an answer for my situation. Given the 3 years of use and 4 young kids using this couch as an indoor trampoline much of the time i'd say this has been a great buy.
