Diane and Craig are absolutely wonderful people.
While at first I thought Diane to be very standoffish and a bit cold, I realized that I was very wrong. They are very quiet people who are respectful of people and their energy. The first time I went in, I was in a very bad place mentally and emotionally, and Diane kept very much to herself. As did I.
When I went back again, I was in a better place mentally and emotionally, and more open to conversing. I was looking for items to use in the product I created to start my own business. Diane and Craig were both very warm, kind, caring, and went out of their way to help me collect all that they could provide to help me, even going above and beyond. It made me realize that Diane wasn't cold, she was respectful of my energy and what I was giving off at the time. I also believe she is protecting her own energy as well.
I was trying to get into the shop one week, for some last minute items I needed, but each time I went they were closed. I text the shop, and Diane text me back letting me know what was going on, let me know when they would be open, and let me know that she was grateful for my understanding of the situation and excited to see me the day they reopened. You don't get that often. It showed me just how much she cares about me as a customer, but also how much she cares about the dedication she has for her shop.
I have been in a number of times since, and the more I get to know them, especially Diane, the more open we get with each other, and they are both such lovely people. Diane is so supportive and encouraging.
The shop itself is gorgeous! Everything is carefully placed and thought out. The items they carry are of the utmost quality and chosen with care and mindfulness.
Thank you to both of you for supporting me and for taking the time to not only help me with the items I need for my business, but for being so kind and...
Read moreI have been a customer of Craig and Diane’s store for several years now, going back to when they were in their original space downtown. They have relocated by the waterfront to an amazing space with large windows, lots of light, and views of the water—that just makes the crystals and the store feel even more magical to me. I have visited many metaphysical shops and crystal shops over the years in different states, and I can unequivocally say that this is the best crystal shop I have ever visited. They have the largest selection of very unique pieces. I got most of my crystal singing bowl collection from them—both purchased by me and received as gifts. They even went out of their way to carry products—healing and clearing sprays, candles, etc.—from shamanic practitioners that I knew back when I lived in NJ. It is so convenient to just drive down the street and buy a bottle when I need it to support a local business instead of either having to buy multiple bottles to save on shipping or pay a high price for one bottle by ordering directly from the practitioners.
Regarding the negative reviews about cameras and signs about being prosecuted, those same signs are in the crystal store at the University Mall and other stores I have visited in the past. That should not be news to anyone visiting a crystal store where there are many small objects that are of high monetary value. If this is an issue for you, don’t go, and the loyal customers will snap up all the amazing specimens.
I do have a suggestion to Craig and Diane.: Classes! Crystal classes, reiki sessions, oracle reading/discussions, like-minded people meeting to talk about crystals (almost like a support group), crystal singing bowl mediations, etc. I have so many ideas. I have some certifications if you decide to go this route and could work with you on some of...
Read moreHonestly, for a Crystal shop that is supposed to support good vibes and promote healing, I have never felt more uncomfortable and worse vibes. Upon entering the door, my entire party had to leave all bags at the door, which is understandable as I’m sure in a college town it is very common for shoplifting to be a problem. However, the problem only came when I noticed that lots of crystals were dyed and or painted. Additionally, the woman behind the counter did not look away from anyone for a second, she then accused my friend of stealing and made him empty his pockets saying “can you empty your right pocket, I saw you fiddling with something in your pocket.” Upon seeing that it was simply his wallet and he was indeed not shoplifting, she simply walked away. No apology was given for accusing an innocent person of a crime he did not commit. There are posters all over the wall reminding you that you are indeed being recorded and you constantly feel the presence of an over seer preemptively making assumption of someone’s character, especially based upon age. I did notice a couple of older age, approximately mid 30s, wasn’t asked to place both of their open non-zippable bags on the counter. Additionally, there are toxic crystals, like milled and rounded bumblebee Jasper out in the open. Bad vibes all around.
Lmao. Imagine reviewing your customers. Maybe you should reflect on yourself and determine what needs to be shifted in your business motto. Being judge jury and executioner isn’t...
