Worst store ever. David was condescending, argumentative and rude. They refused to sell me a bottle of wine and two heads of lettuce after I legitimately ran into someone I work with at the store, they carded me, scanned my ID (and it was approved) but this woman, who is 31 years old and not part of “my party” didn’t have her ID????? I have gone to this store countless times to buy alcohol, alone, with friends and with my fiancé and the whole party has never been carded at the same time but apparently today it’s the policy? I asked to speak with a manager and they brought me some 18 year old girl. When I left and called to speak with the manager apparently he was a man named David, but when we hung up he told me the manager was Jeff???? I feel confused and lied to, also David did nothing to resolve the issue, rather he continued to argue with me….as a person who works in customer satisfaction, I have NEVER argued with a client……. Not to mention I have wasted 20-30 minutes of my time (and as anyone knows time is money) at this godforsaken store. ALSO David had the NERVE to continue to lie to me by telling me that wegmans was the only grocery store in MA where one can buy alcohol (which is TOTALLY false since I’ve purchased alcohol at Trader Joe’s, select star markets, select market baskets, Costco, Sam’s club, the list goes on) so not only is this store the biggest waste of time, the staff openly LIES to you, and apparently are selective about their rules and how they enforce them. If someone would like to resolve this issue I would be more than happy to see how you plan on resolving my wasted time and make up for the numerous lies I’ve been told. Until this is resolved I will ensure myself, my family, and my friends cease frequenting this grocery store. This was the biggest waste of time and inconvenience, the absolute worst customer service experience, and the greatest disappointment, especially given that I have given you guys legitimately so much business over the past two years. You should employ people that know how to please clients, not the...

I had just left the doctor's office because of an injury. As I got out of the car, one of the parking lot attendees, noticed I was having some difficulty and rushed over to greet me with a cart and we exchanged some pleasantries. This is a lovely man. He has been with this store a very long time. He's so kind, thoughtful and gentle-natured. His job is to help collect the grocery carts.
I had to pick up at the pharmacy. As I approached the counter, the remarkably kind and helpful pharmacist greeted me. She asked me what I needed; and, before I knew it, she had completed my transaction in less than 3 minutes.
Then, I picked up a few items and a freshly made sandwich, on freshly baked bread. I checked out at the Express, by the cafe, and the lady packed up my groceries, careful not to make the bag too heavy for me because of my injury.
As I approached my car, the same kind man, approached me. He asked if he could take my cart for me and wished me a pleasant day and hoped that I would feel better soon.
This is what a grocery store or any store in New England should be like for the customer. Hello New England! There is a thing called customer service and being excited that you have people willing to come into your store to buy things from you.
Wegmans is that kind of store. They are excited that you are there. They greet you. They want to help you. They are happy. They go out of their way to make sure that you have a great experience at their store. If you have a problem with something, they are on it. They make it right and they go above and beyond. The produce, the products, the variety, the freshness- it's all there. These are people that are proud to source from and showcase local farmers, using organic methods; and, they sell them at competitive and lower rates than all the other grocery stores, including...
Read morehonestly now that i had a chance to look at the place more and compare it with other locations and stores i can safely say that the Burlington Location is MUCH better than most of its competitors except the for certain things they do not sell certain products as what your used to at other places you shop so it can be frustrating and fairly difficult to get used to. its NOT ALL what you normally would find AND when you use the self checkouts ALL OF THEM are Credit/Debit ONLY THEY DO NOT ACCEPT CASH! one thing that is a HUGE turn off for me since i ONLY use cash or EBT IF it is accepted here. the aisles also are not really in any particular order some are mixed and be be confusing since they are ONLY 1 BIG LONG aisle that merges with others so be sure of where you are in the store it is SO EASY in their stores to get lost or emd up in section you were not trying to reach also despite its GIGANTIC SIZE this place can be really busy since it attracts so many people due to so much being near or around it. it however offers covered 2 floor parking with an elevvator/ escalator inside for the carts an awesome dining area ( again 2 floors with a nice view of the whole store) with a huge selection of pretty much any food type you want. so its still a really great place to shop and visit once you get used to it. again not like your average or typical place you are used to but can easily compete with most other supermarkets and soon they are adding a bus stop nearby for the 350 bus so now it will be that much easier to get here. so come in check it out it could be the place for you over time if and when you decide its for you and worth where you normally go it could never replace it but will definitley be your 2nd alternative for its prices selection and size just about everything is here once you adjust to it the burlington wegmans is easily one of the...
