This was one if my favorite places for so long, but I can’t in good conscience continue to support this chain. Within the last couple of months I noticed a drastic reduction in the size of their Poké bowls. The actual container sizes have been replaced with a much smaller container. The price has stayed the same, but there is so much less in the bowl now. Where there used to be 10 pieces of cucumber, I now get three pieces. Same goes for jalapeños and everything else that I order in my bowl. It’s just not good anymore, and it’s even worse when they don’t fill it up well - which is the norm now. Cutting the size of your bowls in half and doing a poor job filling them, makes it really poor meal. Plus its messed up, their prices have stayed the same and they’re offering drastically less content in their Poké bowls. Oh and this is not a one off experience. Since the change in Poké bowl size, I have ordered multiple bowls. Probably several, I mean this used to be one of my favorite places to eat. Now after continuously poor meals and this size switch (not cool corporate) its really just ruined it for me. I’m sure this company is making enough money as it is, and deciding to try and trick the customers into spending the same amount for much less product is a really unethical choice. Shame...
Read moreI recently visited Okipoke in Burlington, and it was an incredible experience! The poke bowls were fresh, flavorful, and packed with high-quality ingredients. I loved the variety of proteins and toppings-everything from perfectly seared tuna to crunchy veggies and delicious sauces. The staff was super friendly and helpful, guiding me through the menu since it was my first time. The restaurant itself had a clean, modern vibe with a relaxed atmosphere, making it a great spot for a quick lunch or a casual dinner. The best part? The portions were generous, and the flavors were amazing. I highly recommend the Spicy Salmon Bowl and the customizable options-you really can't go wrong! If you're in Burlington and craving fresh, healthy, and delicious poke, Okipoke is a must-try. I'll...
Read moreAlthough i was desperately craving poke- i was genuinely dissatisfied with this place. Smallest portions I’ve ever gotten from any poke place I’ve gone to across the US. A $16 bowl has 2 protein choices and yet the serving portion I got was so tiny it was criminal. I really wanted to love this place because of the location’s convenience but it seems to be more of a cash grab that can up charge in more affluent neighborhoods. I’d rather + will be driving to Big Poke in Lowell or go to Hmart and make it at home.
I’m not writing this to be a rude, but the disappointment really floored me. I want to love this place I work and live nearby but $16-$18 for a small spoon of spicy tuna - in this economy?? I don’t think...
