I’ve been a regular customer for almost a decade. I will never ever move out of state because I can’t go that long without their ice cream. Despite expanding to multiple locations, the quality of their ice cream has not diminished even an ounce. They are the most consistent food establishment I’ve been to in my ~30 years. If you happen to have a bad pint and DM them, they will and always have made it right. That has happened to me ONCE in almost 10 years.

I think their secret sauce is the ownership and management. They are extremely responsive, engaging and man, do they truly care.

Recently I was planning an event. I was thrilled to have it catered by HCIC. Unfortunately a tragedy happened and the event was canceled. Do you know they sent guests of honor a gift card and a sympathy card? the most selfless and memorable thing I’ve ever experienced from a business. Thank you for showing empathy and compassion during some of our darkest days.

Mike and holy cow team, they could never make me hate you. Keep up the great work and bring home another award winning flavor.

I love Holy Cow Ice Cream Cafe and am glad it is in Burlington. Their cold brew oreo and dubai chocolate ones are amazing.

Constructive criticism: I've been to their other stores and I know their waffle cones can taste amazing (warm and thick with a nice crunch). I'm not sure if it's due to training or they are using less batter than other stores, but the past two times I went the waffle cones were definitely a miss. :( The first time the waffle cone was underbaked and soft and it became soggy while eating. I wish so much that I knew the name of the person who helped me this afternoon. She was lovely! She was so friendly and helpful, and we had a nice little chat about the weather. I saw a sign on the window that says if the staff person is named in a review, he/she gets a bonus. I would love for this person to get a bonus! I was at the Holy Cow in Peabody on 8-11-2025, just before 1:00 P.M. She appeared to be the only person working at the time. She was helpful and kind to the customer before me and also to the customer after me.
