Pinch me, please! Am I dreaming or did this just really happen? Idk how she did it, but I look and feel like a $million bucks$ and it’s all thanks to Mrs. Breanna Rutzen. She’s so amazingly talented. I’m not kidding, I got to my car and did what we ALL do; I looked in my rearview mirror - I had to confirm my mirror showed the same reflection as hers, and when I seen how incredible I looked in my own tiny little mirror and that I was still shining (like a Diamond ring at a jewelry store) on my own without all of their big fancy bright lights above me, I literally cried. I had what my teenager calls “the feels” for myself. As a mom of 4 & working from home, self-love isn’t much of a priority for me, like at all. So, my tears, they were all happy tears and my outward expression of happiness wrapped up in the acknowledgment of the years I’ve spent neglecting myself, seeing that “I’ve still got it” and realizing that I need to love me, myself and I. The look? Astonishing. Priceless. Breanna is gifted, although I am not sure she could’ve ever anticipated how much her gift could or would ever impact the soul of someone, I don’t think anyone could, but she has resuscitated me. She’s the reason “Colleen WILL get her groove back” AND ladies, I saved the best for last:

I have had my hair chemically straightened for approximately 20 years now. I have super naturally curly hair. I KNOW the results I am looking for CAN be achieved because I've had it done for so many years. I ended up moving away from the area, or I would have stayed with Beau Monde in the first place. A couple of years ago, I used their website Contact Us form to find out options for doing it, as I don't want to use incorrect products and lose my hair. The owner, Linda, contacted me herself and gave me some ideas. However, my local "stylists" have told me they can't get the products I wanted used. So they tried a normal perm solution on my hair...with very little to no results. I haven't had anything done in 2 years now, as I was very disappointed. So I emailed Linda again to find out how much the services at Beau Monde would run me to achieve the results I am looking for. Linda had her stylist, Tiffany Quinn, call me. Tiffany explained to me several options. We both agreed that I would probably prefer to get the Japanese straightening done. She even offered to find me a salon closer to me who could do those services! I opted to stick with Beau Monde since they have been extremely helpful in this process and I trust them from my past experience with them. This past Saturday, I drove 3 1/2 hours (one way) to meet with Tiffany to get the process done. I washed it last night and let it air dry. I maybe spent 5 minutes on it this morning. Absolutely beautiful!!! Exactly the results I was looking for!!! ...

I went for a haircut on 11/22. My hair is fairly long (below my shoulders). I wanted a dry cut and to trim the dead ends I also asked to cut a little off my bangs (nothing short). When I booked online I was matched with a stylist called Maddie, I’m not a regular there, so I don’t know any of the stylists. She finished cutting in less than 20 minutes! When I took a look at my hair I saw still some unevenness and I asked to go over it again, she did. I’ve had haircuts in the past and she didn’t even blend the cut or section multiple times to double check it’s even. I went home thinking “what did I pay for?” Not to mention the I gave the highest tip percentage! My app was @ 12 and I was in my car driving by 12:19!! I still have uneven bits in my hair and the cut doesn’t look like it was done by a professional. It’s safe to say, I will not be coming back there...
