If you want yelled at on the phone by the owner before you raise your voice back then order here. I hung up before he finished screaming. They have beautiful flowers and my husband and I have been ordering from them for a few years until now. I was so excited when their website said it was delivering to a certain area. I did call another florist before them because it was closer to the recipients, but they were closed. Even though their website states they deliver to certain areas, they will send them to a different florist without disclosing which areas are which until after you pay. They called to cancel one of my three orders due to "distance" but there was only a 6 minute difference between the two addresses. I even offered to pay $15 more for the extra delivery. I am firm that is super reasonable and doable due the the very short distance. We were already paying $20 in delivery from Butler to Worthington. I would pay whatever to get the flowers to my family. I admit, I was upset and frustrated when on the second call after the first lady called, so I probably wasn't happiest person to deal with. I was not going to order for only 2/3 family members. We had three flower orders that we had to cancel because of this. When the man asked if I still wanted to cancel I said yes. After that I said I was upset because I just don't understand why they couldn't have told me sooner and why the website said they could do it. This is when he started screaming at me on the phone. I told him I would be leaving this review to which he told me a was rude and a few other nasty things. So I hung up on him. Like I said I'm not innocent in this either because emotions had me upset. I got defensive. My blood was boiling during this interaction. I 100% believe in supporting local during this time. I know times are tough, but they could have handled the situation different. They didn't even give me an option to pick up or ask if they could deliver them somewhere else.... just said they wouldn't do the order. My mom works in Butler and if the two people would have stopped being rude and let me finish a word, I would have had them delivered to her there. I am very disappointed. Read moreBUYER BEWARE. I went online to Bortmas, the Butler Florist website and I ordered an FTD arrangement for a family birthday. In this arrangement you could select Good, Better or Best. I selected Better. The person I sent the flowers to sent me a picture of arrangement she received. It looked like the Good arrangement. I went online to look closer at the descriptions. It says that the Better and Best arrangements will have more flowers. I called the florist and was told the Good arrangement had a 6 inch vase and the Better arrangement that I ordered had an 8" vase. I told them their website says nothing about vase size, that it says I get more flowers. I selected to upgrade because I wanted more flowers. They told me the would call me back. They did. They said, we followed the recipe FTD gives us. I said, well I ordered based on what is portrayed on your website. I didn't get that. She said she would talk to the owner and call me back again. I said I would like to talk to him directly. He came on the phone, I introduced myself, started to tell him why I was unhappy and he immediately raised his voice at me, insisting the bouquet was beautiful. I tried to interject, and he yelled at me for interrupting and I was to let him finish. He told me he's sorry I wasn't happy but there's nothing he can do. Basically, Too Bad. When I went back on the website, there's a line about how they "Guarantee" their FTD arrangements, and if a customer is not happy, they will refund the full price or send a new arrangement out. Read moreI live out of State, and I have been having the Butler Florist deliver flowers to some of my relatives in the Butler area for several years now. (They were recommended to me by someone who lives in the area, and they service a large delivery area.)
I always call in my order to the Butler Florist, and their folks are always very nice and helpful.
My folks that receive the flowers are always very impressed by the large size, quality, as well as the artistic arrangement of the flower bouquets that they receive.
The cost and the delivery price for The Butler Florist flowers are always extraordinarily reasonable, and the flowers always arrive on time.
A word of advice, The Butler Florist is always very busy before major holidays like Mother's Day, so I suggest you place your order at least a week or two prior to the holiday.
