I was in the store today around 3:00. I wanted to buy a phone, while I was waiting there was a older man (older senior citizen) that a young lady was helping. He seemed to be a little upset, but in no way was he rude to the young girl, just expression his frustration with what he was going though, trying to get a phone return. A man named Jason was on the phone, he put his call on hold, and told him if he was going to mistreat the employee and be mean to them he would throw him out of the store and pointed at the door. He said he was the manager. I'm not sure what he thought the older man said to the young lady, but in no way was he being mean to her. I was appaled that he didn't get off the phone and the way he spoke to him with no respect, embarrassed him in front of other customers, what is wrong with compassion for our seniors. They live in fixed incomes, they do get frustrated over cost of things. I thought to myself 50.00 restocking fee, man thats alot for most of our seniors that live on 1000.00 a month. (He was not complaining about the restocking fee) Jason didn't seem to care about what this man was feeling or needing. It appeared authority went to his head. If maybe he would of got off the phone and just let him know he was going to be taken care of, it would of eased this older man. I called back and found out Jason is not the manager, he is the Asst. Manager. Ashley is the store manager. I spoke with her and expressed my concerns, and didn't like how he treated him. She did ask me not to do the Google review and since I was there was nothing she could do!!!The youg girl that was waiting on him said he had not mistreated her when he ask her, she should of spoke up. I recently was trying to get a national att special promo ...Phone watch and pad were included.... I was told to wait one week because they did not have the watch in stock..... I had to disconnect my old number pad. Add another. New line in anticipation of the new pad working properly.
After waiting a week as the salesperson suggested, I went back in to close the transaction after making several financial moves that paid multiple dollars to AT&t.
I was informed by the male salesperson that the deal that I'd signed up for was no longer available. You see at this point I had already spent multiple dollars and trusted the Cabot AT&t store to do the right thing..... I asked him to call the owner/manager of the AT&t store Cabot to make this right.... A couple of days later he calls me back saying that he talked to the owner, which I guess owns 30 of these AT&t stores around Central Arkansas.... He informed me that they had nothing to do with the special and that they could not take care of my needs...
Not only did my added payment to AT&t corporate go through. Put my bill increased by $75 a month over this lame deal from the Cabot AT&t company!
I have reported them to the better Business bureau.... I have reported them to AT&t corporate.... I have since canceled 30 lines that I have had with AT&t because of this ....
Sorry Cabot AT&t but Verizon picked up a good customer and because of your lack of caring and untruthfulness you lost a good customer in my company and me!

Read moreMy phone had a virus or so I was told. So I upgraded and got a new phone. I was told I would receive a trade in on my old phone of $800. I was happy with that so I proceeded. I ask the salesman if he moved my info to the new phone would that also move the virus? Oh no mam. So I bought a screen protector and adapter because he assured me I needed it. With what I already had it would only make my payment about $127 per month. The next day the new phone was doing the exact same thing as my old phone. I went back to the store and he said I must have downloaded something. I told him I had not down loaded anything! He took it to a lady who worked there and she did something and it was fixed. So I didn't need a new phone at all! He convinced me to buy the new charging adapter but failed to give me the cord to charge it! Fast forward to today and I got the notice of my payment came out of my bank for $331. I hit the ceiling. He must have thought I was senile because he didn't tell me the $800 trade in is not taken off the top of the phone --but at $22 a month over time. He also signed me up for a second line which I was not even ask nor do I even have a phone for that number or even aware there was one. He also added insurance and warranty without asking me. After talking to Att today things are straight except I have to keep the second number until Oct. In order to get the trade in amount. And I also found out the Att store is not a corporate store but a franchise so I guess that accounts for the shady business practice. I am reporting them to the fair business practice .
