Fired Up — Local services in Cabot

This started with my niece eagerly anticipating her upcoming 12th Birthday adventure nearly 6 months in advance. She said she wanted us as a family to go to Fired Up in Cabot to paint a pottery piece. I thought, that would be fun but getting my family to sit down at a table full of food tends to be difficult enough. Of course, not knowing what is to come week to week in all of our busy lives, I told her to remind me in September. This was a bit of a test to see, if it’s important enough to her that this is what she wants us to do then she will stay on point and then I’ll pay for the expense. My niece didn’t miss a beat. She reminded me the first week of September. I acknowledge and said I would book the event. (I failed to do so.) She messaged me again at the end of the month asking if I’d booked it. Frantically I text the family and then we’re strategizing on when everyone can be available. We settled on dates, I messaged Fired Up (Amber) and she told me the days that I could book & it was settled. It was raining cats and dogs and I figured some family would flake but to my surprise, they all showed up! But this wasn’t just a normal unity with my family; it was a peaceful, enjoyful, and remarkably rememberable experience! I've been here 3 times and loved it two of them. It is a good way to pass some time.

My only complaint is that when we went one time, the woman in there was "hounding" my sister (age:7) and would not quit coming over and correcting her. She did not go to any other tables and do this and I saw plenty of other people doing the same thing she was (that is why she did it). The only thing she was doing wrong was cleaning her paint brush too much, which we were correcting on our own, and she just ruined the entire experience.

I had a wonderful experience here! I'm from Kansas and we were visiting as part of a limited-time trip. The staff was very friendly and informative, there was a huge selection of pottery to paint, and they spent time chatting with us and giving us recommendations for food. Amber was especially helpful, making special accommodations for us to make sure our pieces would be done by the time we had to leave town.
