The Goodwill in Morgantown, PA is clean And organized on the houseware section But the clothing and furniture area didnât have a pleasant smell the day I was in the store. Also, this location doesnât have the Color tag sale which is advertised online. The store in Pittsburgh had this sale and I was hoping the Morgantown location and the Marchwood location in Exton, PA would have the similar sale but neither of them had that sale. I wonder why there is no standardization in these sales across all Goodwill stores.
The prices are not reasonable either. I understand you support several charitable organizations but charity should begin at home (home town in this case) to support the locals. I agree some of the shoppers buy and sell elsewhere but I doubt Morgantown locals do that. I understand Goodwill is conscious of COVID and is not accepting returns but if you are selling used merchandise, then the store should come up with a way of disinfecting the returns. I walked out empty because of no return policy like the other reviewer. If the prices were cheap and reasonable then I could have bought the chosen items and would have kept it if they didnât fit. I am hoping Morgantown Goodwill would bring back the color tag sale during the week and on Sundays and lower the...
Read more$2.99 for a 6-pack of dirty, scratched up hangers?! Walk a few doors down to Walmart and get double the amount of hangers - new - for half the price.
The pricing was consistent throughout the household goods & toys section. Overpriced & many of the items were more suitable for the dumpster than the shelves. Stuff was DIRTY, greasy and beat up. Clean stuff up before you try to sell it - every other thrift store in the area manages to.
Stuff with Target & Dollar General price tags still on it - marked up double.
This is the second time I've visited this location - the first time I left grossed out and empty handed as well.
I'm 100% coming back to this store just for fun to take pictures of all the beat up merchandise and obscene prices.
Locals, please, if you're interested in giving back to your community - DO NOT donate your goods here. Donate to the Re-Uzit Shop or Steeple to People. These stores take care of your donations, price fairly & are charitable to our community. Goodwill is clearly the definition of corporate greed moonlighting as a charitable...
Read moreI loved going here to find decent deals on name brand plus size clothing. Today as i was looking around i was checking out the dresses and came across to blouses that were a size 20 and they had a dress tag and price on it. I asked the store manager about this anf ask if he would sell them to me as a blouse because they are not dresses he grabbed them and said we cant change tags. If you find an item that has no price thay will put a price on it. If i was smart at the time i should have took the tags off so they coulld have put the right ones on. I cant believe the policy ....throw it away instead of marking it down. Anyone explain this to me. I always get i...
