I was in the store today around 4PM because my Oneplus 6T's battery has been draining extremely fast the past few days. I used to be a Sales Lead for T-mobile and have 6 years past experience selling phones... I know my way around a phone and am not the average user that would come into the store.
I'm 99% sure the problem is due to Google Play Services,which I figured out simply by googling for two seconds.
Whoever the young guy was who was there was absolutely no help. Only one on the floor and no other customers. I told him what I thought the exact issue was and Asked him if he might know how to fix it and he did not even take the phone out my hands to look at it or play around with it to troubleshoot. He told me "to be honest, I only really know battery issues with Iphones." and told me he didn't know what to do. Really??? I've worked for T-mobile, it's a recent phone and you're responsible to know about every phone you sell-Android or IPhone. At least try to help do some troubleshooting. Sorry it's not a commission sale for you to make money off of, but it's your job to help people with their phones and you had nothing else to do but stand there.
Seriously, I'll just fix it myself and I'm not buying anything at the store again. He was completely useless, no help,and I don't know what you're paying him for.
