A friend recommended this restaurant for a good Mexican fast food dinner. I went into this experience not expecting anything out of the ordinary and was surprised (to say the least). The choices on the menu were burritos, burrito bowls, tacos or salad(s) and a couple of other offerings (nachos, desserts).
I grabbed him some tacos and couldn’t put a finger on my choice so with that, I asked the drive thru person what he would recommend. Without hesitation, he said a burrito bowl so that’s the direction I went. I also got the order of guacamole.
I got back home and gave my buddy his tacos (which looked wonderful) and took my food out of the bag.
First impression was how heavy (in terms of weight) the burrito bowl was. The guacamole was a good sized portion as well. The steak burrito bowl was packed with flavor! It was delicious! Amazing actually. The guacamole was fantastic in comparison to any take away Mexican restaurant I’ve ever had, personally.
There was so much food in that burrito bowl that I made two meals from it. Overall rating… on a scale of 1-10 (ten being the highest rating), I would give this place an 11. Well done Taco Fest! Great quality and quantity of food. The freshness of ingredients was outstanding! Flavorful, aesthetically appealing, wonderful portion sizes! Keep up the great work!! Thank you for a wonderful first...
Read moreMight be the best Mexican we’ve had! We are picky with our Mexican food and we’re curious as to how taco fest did theirs. Not only were we blown away by the entrees but even the simple things like rice & beans and the chips and salsa were excellent and reminded us of truly authentic Mexican food down south. Their tacos of course, specifically the Al pastor tacos, are to die for, along with their enchiladas. And their entrees like the carne asada and the piña tropical are insane - humongous pineapple! But the best thing they have by far is their chimichanga! Perfectly fried and SHREDDED chicken, just how a chimi is supposed to be! Cheese sauce is incredible and reminded us of the best chimi’s we’ve had! Their plantains and empanadas are great as well! I won’t forget the amazing Mangonada drink with mango slush, tajin, chomoy and tamarrico straws was so good I had to look it up and make it myself! It blends spicy with refreshing and is a whole new experience! All in all, Taco fest was an amazing experience, and so good the first time we had to go back twice very recently! Service is great and employees are very kind and helpful! Can’t wait to go back and highly recommend for flavorful and...
Read moreI will start by saying we have been really excited for this place to open. However last night was our first night here and we were really disappointed. I wish you could attach pictures to these reviews. First of all I was a bit shocked at the language barrier, everyone working there (last night at least) didn't seem to know English. They were just pointing to things and if you shook your head yes they knew to add it to your order. Wasn't really expecting that. I ordered a chicken quesadilla which at first looked really good at first glance but as soon as I got to my table I realized it wasn't even cut first of all and second the amount of juice/water inside made it literally inedible. The entire thing within seconds was a soggy mess I had to throw 3/4 of it away! Same thing with my son's soft shell tacos, watery grease all over turning it into a soggy mess. The meat in his tacos (ground beef) wasn't even seasoned. It was literally just ground beef and cheese that wasn't even melted. It has zero taste. Same with my chicken, zero flavor. There were 4 of us and we spent over $60! We were very disappointed and won't be returning...
