We are from the continental United States and on every island, in every country or any (Area) that have Costco, gets visited by us. We spend thousands with the company and own stock in it because we believe in everything they're about, as a corporation. Great products here, so many friendly employees too. However, the employee (Frank) in the parking lot, walking around or gathering carts, isn't an employee with a disposition that shows Costco's higher standards of customer service. In my experience, if a customer ask a question and is then given a clear and direct response to that question, they should be honest. They would be expected to be knowledgeable in their response as well. After a hand shake and a thank you Sir, given to the employee Frank, we continued onto shopping. Only to be later stopped as in stalked, outside on our way back to our vehicle, I was alone at this point. He was lurking, waiting for us to return to the area in which we parked. It made me extremely uncomfortable. He continued to inform me that what he said earlier was incorrect. He did apologize, in a way that was to blame policy, but not in the way of being creepy as well as wrong. I hope I never experience another situation as this, as I have fortunately never been approached in this way before! Read moreThis rating is specifically for the Pharmacy. Bad customer service, Very ineffective and inefficient. I was told that my prescriptions was going to take around 45 minutes to 1 hour to be ready so I go around and spend some time in the store to wait. I come back 1 hour later and is still not ready, they didn’t notice that I could hear them talking that no-one took care of my prescriptions to prepare it so the person that attended me asked another employee what she was doing so she could prepare my prescriptions. She comes back to me and said to wait a few more minutes that became 30 more minutes. I go to the front again and ask if it was ready so the representative goes to checkout and comes back saying that they apparently can’t contact my medical plan. I told her, why anybody let me know about it so I could avoid wasting my time... I went to Walgreens and 10 minutes later I walked out with my prescriptions with no excuses that my medical plan didn’t answer. If you like bad customer service in a Pharmacy go to Costco in Caguas. I said bad customer service in the begging because non of the employees at the pharmacy that attended me were polite about interacting with me or any other customer. Store is clean, easy to navigate and employees are efficient. The cons is on the sky rocketing prices costco have gone for. Also, the entrance and exit is very challenging since Plaza Centro Mall gets incredibly packed with all the options it has.
Optical is also clean, easy to make a selection and employees are very committed. The cons is on the lack of communication after the arrival of the pair of glasses and contact lenses. They wont bother calling to let one know if anything has arrived.
Pharmacy is clean but thats about it. The cons are so many I could just summarize it by saying DONT count on costco as a medical pharmacy. Crowded, upsetting, busy, careless service. I have delivered medical RXs over 20 times and not once they have met the estimated time they said it would take to pick them up. Not only they disnt meet it, when you go picking it up they haven’t even started working on it and makes no sense. More than 50% of the times the meds are simply not available at the time and would have to be requested outside to grant you another trip to the ordeal it is to get in and out...
