Calimesa Seventh-day Adventist Church — Local services in Calimesa

I'll start this review off with the disclaimer that I am a member here, was dedicated here, and went through the Adventist system.

Being in my 20's, I can say that I am still here and do enjoy this church. Being a family oriented church, one of the nice things about Calimesa SDA is that there is a mix of old and young, traditional and modern. You see that in the way the organ plays hymns, but the praise band can rock out (a little).

It is also a professional church. Many younger and older working and medical professionals go here. In some ways, this works to Calimesa's advantage and disadvantage. Education can occasionally inadvertently cause a disconnect between those with and those without. The people are quite cordial and compassionate though.

Besides the 5 pastors, the church has heavy involvement by volunteers. If you want to really enjoy this church, you would be wise to do the same.

This is a church that loves obviously loves Jesus and takes pragmatic approach...

Wow! 🤯This place is either a huge multifamily👨‍👩‍👧👨‍👧‍👧👨‍👦‍👦👨‍👩‍👧‍👧👩‍👦‍👦 generational church or just comically strange🤪. Ya gotta go at least twice. Good church,not quite Adventist as stated. 🤔Lol, this church is like watching a evangelical end times movie🎬 where the group is portrayed as pious and righteous😇 yet in every hallway the protagonist in the movie hears nothing about Jesus and more about the parishioners them selves. 😅 Not sure this church is really like that but it was super funny and creepy to experience. Gonna go back to ask the pastor a question I hear in all the evangelical movies ie pureflix " Did this congregation tell you how to preach or holy spirit?" 🤐Or dum dum da " Was it 'we don't need leading or changing. We're fine the way we are'."😮 When I get the answer I'll post which movie the church...

Attended a concert of a touring Uganda, Africa singing group. They were excellent. SORRY to say the congregation ( some public attendees like myself) was very unwelcoming and kinda smug.
