Took my vehicle in to get an enclosure made, change of RCA's bought from them, and brought in my own monoblock and 4 channel to get installed.
The enclosure was used with proper 3/4 MDF, carpeted to match the interior which was great. Though, to connect the wire from the amp to the subwoofer, they just drilled a hole in the back of the box and ran the wire though with a knot and sticky sealant on the inside of the box. No bolts, no binding posts, or not even asking the customer if they would want the wire to run out of the port so I can use binding posts or bolts myself. $300 for the ported enclosure which was too tall. The subwoofer slaps against the cargo tarp in the rear which I stated would happen but they said they couldn't change the box dimensions... or do anything about it.
The RCA's that were already in the vehicle still remain in the vehicle, just stuffed under the rear seats since they didn't want to cut the tape that's also taped with the remote wire and rca's together. They ran their new ones though which work fine.
Here is the biggest fail. They say they've been installing for years, you think they would know how to wire a dual ohm subwoofer right? NOPE, the owner insisted I should get a second monoblock, or a 2 channel IIRC to get the second coil powered... I took the car home, and knew they didn't know what they were doing so I double checked my amps and woofer. First the woofer came out. Only one coil was wired... The second coil was by it's self. I had to wire both coils properly to get a 1 ohm load. Second, I checked the gains on the amps. EVERY GAIN KNOB WAS MAXED OUT PLUS BASS BOOST! These sure are professionals! The owner of the shop was working on the vehicle too, not just his employees. Thankfully I'm suspicious of every ones work and double check everything myself and caught it before I had a fried...
Read moreI cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Audio Xtreme. Their team demonstrated not only exceptional technical expertise but also a genuine passion for their craft that is increasingly rare to find.
I entrusted them with the installation of a full audio system in my Toyota Tundra, and the results are nothing short of extraordinary. The subwoofers deliver thunderous, precise bass with remarkable depth, while the mids and highs maintain stunning clarity and balance—every nuance in the music is rendered with breathtaking fidelity. The soundstage is immersive and powerful, yet refined. Simply put, it has completely transformed my driving experience. They also installed window tint and a front-facing camera with meticulous attention to detail, leaving no element overlooked.
So impressed was I with their work on the truck that I immediately brought in my boat, which had been left in a disastrous, incomplete state by a previous shop. That situation had been both frustrating and disappointing—until I walked through the doors of Audio Xtreme. Troy stepped in with professionalism and confidence, quickly diagnosing the issues and devising creative, custom solutions. He remounted my offshore lights using beautifully crafted custom brackets and completed the installation of multiple head units flawlessly. The transformation was astonishing.
Audio Xtreme not only salvaged my boat’s system—they elevated it. Their combination of craftsmanship, technical knowledge, and commitment to customer satisfaction is truly exceptional. I am deeply grateful for the work they’ve done and can say without hesitation that Audio Xtreme has earned my trust and my highest recommendation.

Read moreA few days before this review was written, Chris, Troy, and the guys and the girl at Audio Xtremel, (I keep forgetting her name). All helped out with getting my audio needs met yet once again. As I've mentioned in a previous review or two, Troy is not known for being cheap, inexpensive, and anything in between. Troy is known however, for competitive pricing, outstanding workmanship, and standing by the products that he sells. Even if your equipment is used, but purchased from him, he stands by ready and willing to attend your needs. Recently I had my wifes truck have a little help in the bass department with our 2014 f-150 fx2 truck. It came with the Sony navigation sound system that, quite honestly sucks. However, this does not seem to be a challenge for Troy in the boys hear at Audio Xtreme. I can proudly say that I've known this man over 20 years. I have had the pleasure of having him install multiple systems in many vehicles, recently a very high end system in two of my previous vehicles. Please remember and make sure that you check out other people first before you go to Troy at Audio Xtreme, if cheap is what you're looking for, then go to California Sound, if excellence and quality is what you're after and clean clear sound, you owe it to yourself, your ears, and most definitely your wallet, to come check out Audio Xtreme. For this and many other reasons not mentioned here, will I continue my business venue with not just my friend Troy and Chris, but also, have a continual business relationship with audio extreme. Perfection, quality workmanship, and proper installations are what they're known for....
