I've been shopping at Columbia Sportswear for many years ~ and my wife and I often like to drop by their Outlet Stores for really great deals. We have literally spent THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS with Columbia over the past 5 years.
This past weekend [April 2, 2017] ~ we decided to take a drive down to our local Camarillo Store just to check out their new Summer Arrivals, etc.
We found some really tempting offers [mostly winter markdown items] and proceeded to purchase over $300 in merchandise.
Our problem began when we tried to use a "Community Pass" that was given to us by a very sweet associate ["Ruby"] who works at the Columbia Sportswear Outlet at Citadel [we didn't realize that it expired on March 1st]. Once again, a very sweet and kind associate ["Lisa"] advised that our Community Pass had expired ~ and offered to give me one of her own passes, so we could complete our transaction.
Unfortunately, her Manager [a man who seemed to have a Scottish accent] pulled her aside and scolded her, basically saying that "YOU CAN'T DO THAT]!
We were so disappointed, we cancelled the same and walked out of the store ~ amazed that our business seemingly meant nothing to this store manager.

I shopped there twice before Christmas and the first round noticed even aftet I explicitly requested to become a loyalty member for discounts, the cashier ignored me and I gave up. There were about 4 Columbia employees milling around. I started picking out things to try on. NOT ONE EMPLOYEE acknowledged me, offered to take my clothing for me .. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE.
