I tried to buy a $10 card and the card itself cost $1 and I put $10 on it and it charged me $21 and I went to the one of those stuffed animal games and it literally took all my money after three tries this is a waste of money and time honestly they're better arcade places in Boston then Cambridge it is a load of crap that I paid $21 for a $10 card is ridiculous and when I tried to get my receipt it didn't give me one cuz it the time was out because I was handling my daughter who has autism the fact that it only gives you a certain amount of time to get a receipt and doesn't just print out receipt is ridiculous this is a complete s* and honestly I believe it should be shut down into a better place I remember the days where arcades collected coins you put 25 cents in and you get your game nowadays you have to pay a buttload of money just to play one game it is ridiculous and senseless I am never coming back here again..... Ever even if my kid begs me to.... P.s and when I came back with the stuffed animal from the stuffed animal toy thing and told the cashier that I only took me three times to get the animals she was surprised the fact that she was surprised it only took me three times to get a doll that cost me $21 to get that in a store would cost me five bucks is ridiculous this whole place is a chip and it means to take your money especially if you are a traveler... Also when I asked for my receipt the cashier couldn't do anything about it because the time was out to get my receipt... That tells you a lot about this place they don't want you to get refunds and also they want you to spend a buttload of money on crap toys... Yes it is an experience but not the one that you should expect when you have a child... I've noticed that the people who have written on this review do not have children especially children who have disabilities.. they say it's a family fun place but I don't see it.. Again even if my kid begs me to come back there I will never take them back there ever... I rather waste my money at Dave & Buster's which is a complete load of crap than ever come...
Read moreIâm so so so happy that thereâs an arcade back in Harvard Square that everyone can enjoy and remember the old times, the good old days. Sean Hope is a business genius, whatever he touches turns to gold, no lies! Have known him for YEARS and think very highly of him.
Iâve been into DX a bazillion times with my husband to play the games, especially the Nerf Blast and the Rubber Duckie Claw. In fact, we went upstairs this afternoon and had a go at Nerf Blast and the Rubber Duckie Claw with one of our friends, John.
When we were done, we sat down in the seats for not a long time and we were figuring out if we wanted to play anymore games or go home, when the girl thatâs the opening attendant came up the stairs and asked us to leave because we werenât doing anything right at that second. We told her that we were only figuring out if we want to play more games or not, but she wouldnât have it. I got up and got ready to leave, Iâm NOT going to let a kid whoâs new in Harvard Square embarrass me, my husband or anyone with us like that. My husband and I told her that he works for the HSBA and has for decades. That weâve known Sean for a LONG time and weâre going to let him know about...

What an amazing experience! This arcade is a gem for anyone who loves games. The sheer variety of games available is mind-blowing â everything from timeless classics to the newest releases. I found myself lost in a world of fun and excitement for hours.
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making the experience even better. They were always on hand to assist and made sure everyone was having a great time. The entire place was spotless, and all the equipment was in perfect working order.
The ambiance of the arcade is fantastic, with cool lighting and upbeat music that sets the perfect mood. Itâs clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating a fun and welcoming environment for all ages.
The prize area was a pleasant surprise, with a wide range of awesome prizes to choose from. It was so satisfying to trade in my tickets for some really great items. Plus, the snack bar had all my favorite arcade treats, which was the cherry on top of a perfect day.
If youâre looking for a fun and memorable outing, this arcade is the place to go. I canât recommend it enough and will definitely...
