As soon as we walked in we got rude looks and attitude from the “boss” or whoever she was. We asked for ice with our soda, they didn’t give it to us and we got yelled at for eating a cookie bc we’re not “allowed” to eat outside food and we respected that, although we’re paying to eat there. Then the “boss” put our food on the table with an attitude almost slamming it down. And we kept receiving those unwelcoming vibes from them. We were never rude not once, we tried to be nice disregarding that they were being rude. The crab rangún was cold in the middle and the food was not the best. We decided not to tip and they got very angry and we told them why and that we didn’t like the service and they told raised their voice and said we have to tip every Chinese restaurant and that we have to tip for their service (what service!!?) and that next time to not come, but we weren’t planning to ever return. Left very unsatisfied and disappointed with the service and food. Would 100% not recommend to anyone. We usually tip servers but in this occasion it was not worth it we tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but I don’t know if it was because we are a different race bc when some other girls walked in (they were asian) they were not...

Food is okay. Lunch specials are very small portions. Service is the WORST I have ever experienced. I ordered dry pot to go, which is charged by weight, and decided to leave and come back for my food. I came back about ten minutes later and my food wasn't ready I thought. I waited about five minutes before one of the employees told me someone had taken my order (i.e. - they gave it to the wrong person because the orders are kept behind the counter and have to be handed to you by the employee). No apology though. Fine. I remembered what I ordered, so I ask for the same items again. They veggies were .03 lbs over this time, so the employee took out ONE potato noodle. ONE NOODLE, I kid you not. Then came the meats and seafood. Picked the same items, but weight came out to .05 lbs more than the original (employee was diligently checking my original order receipt). I was appalled. So he took out one tiny piece of squid and a shrimp. Then I had to wait about another ten minutes for the food THEY MISTAKENLY GAVE AWAY. I cannot believe how stingy they were - one noodle, one small shrimp, and a small piece of squid would have cost them 30 cents at most. Here's the kicker: they never apologized for the mix up or...

Very bad attention to the free service they believe that the food that a customer orders through the application is given away they wait for you they make you wait 20 30 minutes up to 40 minutes in the store when the order comes out they last up to 12:15 minutes to deliver it to you they believe that the food that is seen the customer asks for through the Uber application that is two hours they think it is given away the customer who orders through the application is also paying for his food to put it wait 40 and 50 minutes so that, they are very rude in the store and you, Unfortunately, the restaurant is one of the most despised restaurants for delivery, Because they believe that we must wait 40 and 50 minutes until I feel like delivering the order we are two we are guilty unfortunately if a store does not want to take application orders what you have to talk to the applications that do not want to order applications because they make you wait 40 and 50 minutes which is not a payment for any application unfortunately they are very rude and you like them very badly they are very racist in that restaurant, They make inappropriate racist comments when they think delivery doesn't...

Five Spices always serves up a spicy, salty party for the mouth. It used to be one of my favorite lunch special restaurants -- less than $10 for soup, rice, and a large entree, or ~$24 for 3 entrees. The prices have since increased and the portion sizes have decreased (even pre-pandemic) but I shan't forget the good old days! I especially enjoyed that their lunch specials weren't just the cheapest items but included items that I would normally order for dinner (like spicy boiled fish fillet, which is normally ~$18 in other restaurants). For dinner I enjoy ordering their pickled pepper fish fillet soup which was ~$11. The dry pot is also good though oily and expensive. Good to share in a group! During the pandemic I also tried their dry chili chicken which was delicious. Overall Five Spices knows what they're doing with their flavors and never lets me down in that regard. It's just pricey...

Food here is pretty amazing! The spicy pot was really good, we ordered a medium spicy and it was delicious. The things we think they need improvement are the service and cleanliness. Server was a bit rude and unfriendly. Having some kind of attitude to us. We also found that the glass of water has some unpleasant smell and not clean. The look from outside is reasonable clean but from what we see from the inside, plates and stains, I think they need to work on the cleanliness for the customer. It is a very tasty food, unfortunately the service and cleanliness are some things to work on. That’s the reason of my two stars.
