Sennott Park — Attraction in Cambridge

Play at this park all the time. Glass backboards and single rims, you couldn’t ask for more from an outdoor court. Only thing is, one of the three of the courts is slightly shorter than the others, but besides that it’s good. There’s also a water fountain nearby and plenty of benches to sit on. Runs are ok, but it wouldn’t hurt to grab a couple friends and get a group together beforehand. Backboard also absorbs shots like u can chuck it pretty hard and the ball...

Pros: Large trees on the Broadway side provide good shade for an outdoor lunch or nap. Baseball field is perfect for frisbee. There's a splash pad for kids near the basketball court. A few tables and benches line the path through the park.

Cons: Baseball field can be very dusty in dry weather. Not as much shade as I'd like. The adjacent school uses the park for recess and sports, which is great, but can be loud + crowded. Good amount of traffic noise...

Great park! There is a fenced in playground with large and small play structures, swings, etc. There are tall trees that provide shade, benches and a picnic table inside the play area. The park also has basketball courts and a good-sized exercise area/structure.
