Went to Hospice Thrift store EVERYTHING for half price Saturday, that is until you came to jewelry. A small cross they wanted $175 and a pair of Sterling earring were $75. When I asked for the half off price I was told only jewelry under $20 was half price and anyrhing over $20 was full price. They receive these donations for free then overprice and gouge the public. Macy's or Penneys would carry the cross for about $100 new am not sure the cost of the earrings, but there,was no bargain there either. The wonan at the counter was rude and could have cared less. Not much good in that...
   Read moreThis place is curious. It could be the jewel of Cameron Park but it kind looks run down. With a few exceptions the businesses turn over a lot and there are always empty spaces. KOBE sushi is too classy to be there and I'm sure misses business because of its location. There is also an unremarkable Mongolian BBQ and a Thai place that has been through a few owners, a Mexican place and a smoke shop and maybe a few other little shops. There is a little train with tracks running around the place but I've never seen it run in the 15 years I've been in...
