10/17: I love Park's gyros, * BUT * I just online ordered. I asked for sauce on the side. Clear enough, right? I wanted one with sauce on the side because I was going to take it to work tonight. Now it'll be mushy within the hour.
I even asked the guy if the sauce was on the side. He said, "Yes" and smiled. WTH??
These guys are STILL unreliable on the heat level unless you order "no spice." If you order any higher heat level, it won't be even inside the sandwich. All the heat ends up at one end.
7.9.2024: PLEASE SUPPORT THIS FAMILY-OWNED, LOCAL BUSINESS. Went there today for their amazing chicken gyro which tasted great. Generous portions & a really nice staff. They're always appreciative of their customers. A++ PLEASE SUPPORT THIS FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS.
UPDATE - 2nd visit: Fabulous! I brought a friend & we both loved our lunches. While we were waiting, I caught the distinct scent of Tandoori Chicken. TANDOORI IN CAMERON PARK?? YAY!!! That day, the chicken tasted just like Tandoori. I ordered medium & loved it! My friend ordered mild shawarma & enjoyed it too. The Greek salad is a bit on the plain side, dressing & extras, but its still a great pairing for their food. A++ PLEASE SUPPORT THIS FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS. Great food; kind & friendly staff; and a spotlessly clean restaurant. This was my 1st time here & I'm impressed!
I ordered a medium spicy shawarma. YEOW!! It was a little over the top as far as heat goes. The taziki saved the day & balanced it out.
An order comes with your choice of basmati rice, fries or salad. The fries have a light dusting of (smoked paprika?) on them & its a really nice touch. The come with a drink (of your choice) too.
My daughter got the smashed falafel wrap & I requested pita bread for hers (they use lavash, and theirs turned out to be great!). They added a pita bread (on the side) which was good too. She loved the falafel, as did I. Really good & full of herbs. A+++
If you've never tried to make falafel, it's not easy. I went to cooking school & I still can't make falafel. This place does them right!...
Read moreMy experience here was just okay. I ordered a beef and lamb gyro and a side of pita bread and hummus. The gyro had one small piece of tomato and a lot of lettuce that was soggy from the runny tzatziki sauce. The gyro meat seemed like it was pretty good quality. The hummus and pita were good.
I was a little confused by the customer service because when I walked in, the man sitting behind the counter wouldn't help me and waited for someone else to come from the back of the kitchen to greet me. It felt a little frustrating because when someone came up from the back to greet me, I told them I was picking up and order and they grabbed it right off the counter that was in front of the first guy who didn't want to help me. The atmosphere itself was unfortunately not very inviting, so in combination with the customer service experience I had, I probably won't be...
Read moreAuthentic Mediterranean food. The tzatziki sauce has such a rich and light flavor. The pieces of lamb that they sever are not thin and few; they are good portion. Fresh vegetables, the pita 🫓 fluffy and soft.
They give you the option from no-spicy to hot for your food, this enhances the flavor but also is kids and non-spicy people friendly!
The french fries are great! They add a spice to them that you cannot stop eating them. Prices are great for the quality and amount of food you are getting.
Customer service: really great, they are fast, friendly, kind and really care if we enjoyed the food. It’s a very friendly and personal restaurant. They have falafel options as well.
