Old Navy — Local services in Canton Township

I recently tried to return Old Navy merchandise to this store and my return was refused. My online order included both Gap and Old Navy items, but the order email was sent by Gap. The person who was helping me would not accept the return because the email said Gap ... Even though they were clearly Old Navy items. (I provided them with the order number, confirmation email, phone number and email address, the items were in new condition with tags, and I was well within the return timeframe.) I have returned online purchases to the store many times before and have never had this issue.

I asked to get help from a manager but the woman helping me informed me that she was "the highest level of management I could talk to" at the store. She was rude and unhelpful.

I left the store and called customer service, who told me the store absolutely should have accepted the return. But since they wouldn't, my only choice was to ship it back. A huge pain considering I had already gone out of my way to return to the store, and I don't own a printer to print the return label.

In general, I like old navy for jeans and plain t-shirts and blouses. It's usually great for the basics, however, this one was a little disappointing. They had some stuff, but most of their stuff didn't have all sizes. It was very hit and miss. I also usually find a lot of stuff in my size in the clearance section, and even that disappointed me! Amber greeted me, told me about the big sale, and was very helpful in helping me find what I needed. I have disabilities and she was very kind. I noticed she also stayed busy when not helping customers. I used to work in retail for years (elsewhere) and she is an asset to Old Navy! Cashier (sorry, forgot her name) was nice, too.
