Torrid — Local services in Canton Township

I have been to many torrids in the area and I will say this location was really disappointing . I walk in and the staff asked what I was looking for while standing behind the counter playing on their phones and talking to their friends who weren’t even shopping there I mentioned I was looking for clothes for work and they pointed me to a section. They never checked in to see how I was doing and saw that I had a big thing of clothes in my hand didn’t even offer to get me a dressing room or to help me find anything which is unusual because every other torrid that I’ve been to has never been so unfriendly and unhelpful. The blonde manager Was rude when My child was with me and needed to use the restroom and I asked even though they have a sign up regarding not having a public restroom if my son could use it because they close soon and we are still potty training (while I won’t hold it against them due to the sign on the window the way she handled it was rude) . She said we don’t close for another hour. You could try another business nearby and come back well, Luckily, the people next-door were kind and let us use it When I returned, the lady was still rude giving me dirty looks and not offering any sort of assistance with My search I ended up checking Lane Bryant out and the same strip mall the customer Was night and day Linda at Lane Bryant was the ideal employee of how torrid employees usually are Maybe if these employees were actually trained properly, they would have...

The store was clean, the staff were friendly…I am new to the Torrid scene. I was excited to find another store that catered to my curvy body. However, I would advise you not to go there for a shopping experience if you have a full bladder, etc. I came in to buy funeral appropriate attire and I was using an assistive device because of my injury. Here I am basically handicapped. I expressed the urgency to use their restroom, but I was told, “we don’t have a restroom for customers”….“Kohl’s, does”.

Honestly, I have a huge problem with this, if my money is good enough to be given to you in exchange for merchandise; my opportunity to use the restroom in your establishment…if needed; should be of existence as well. I really had no interest in returning to the store after I left because I don’t think that paying customers should have to leave to go seek a restroom at the nearby department store. They obviously did not know that’s how you lose money sending a paying or potential customer to another store because you refuse to be the one...

What a fine place to visit, let alone shop.

There displays are well done and kept up in a good manner. They have the latest fashions in a wide variety of sizes, colors and styles. Whether you are looking for a gift for the wife, girlfriend or some other lady friend or relative, this is a great store to visit.

I appreciated the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. They were well acquainted with that they had on hand.

There is plenty of parking at this location. It is easy to get to the parking lot from Michigan Avenue when heading west. When leaving the lot use caution as Michigan Avenue can be busy at various times of day and the rest of the time the cars move along very fast.

Heading east you will need make a U-Turn to get to the lot.
