T.J. Maxx — Local services in Canton Township

This store has the worst customer service!!! Apparently only one register can help customers with returns. Waited 40 minutes to make a return while the other three employees waited at their registers with NO customers. Claiming that only one register can make refunds (apparently, they said this was a TJ Max policy). When I left the store, they had seven customers waiting to make a return, all super frustrated. I had a tag and receipt and they claimed it was not the receipt. I left super frustrated, and Manager was RUDE not to mention the employee on the ONLY register that could make returns was SUPER slow! Assuming she was a manager but not sure what her job title is, but she just leaned on a counter doing nothing! I drove 32 minutes to the city of Monroe and got the best service and they made the return seamless and could not believe the service at the Canton store. All five of the registers were able to make returns in Monroe. I will never return...

Extremely racist followed throughout the store. As we were shopping store, associate came for the cash register to follow me through the store through the store as we were in the children’s area, looking at a toy, picking something for birthday the sales associate kept taking the things that we were looking at and putting them back onto the shelf eventually moved went closer to the baby clothes sales associate follows me closer to the baby clothes. I’m looking through the baby clothes, sales associate goes directly in front of me moves all the clothes that I have been looking at all the way over and proceeds to stand in front of me and move the items not allowing me to finish shopping. The customer service was terrible...

I live in Westland, so I normally do not come this way but I am very glad I did!! The store is so clean! The employees are so nice, and they have a good selection of fur throws (the reason I stopped by) I ended up buying these cool sneakers for my wife with the help (and great taste) of one of the employees. I wish I got her name- she wears a headscarf.. not sure what it’s called but she was so kind and patient with me. My wife loved the shoes!

When I was trying on polos this young man named Micheal or Mechael (something like that) helped me get the right sizes and even exchanged a few so I wouldn’t have to run back and forth. He was very helpful.
