I was pleasantly surprised when trying the Corner Pub for the first time. We used to come all the time when it was Tony Saccos, but haven’t been to the new place. When we walked in, it was seat yourself, which I don’t love in case we aren’t seen, but I made eye contact with a server and then sat down. She came over shortly after that. She was nice, and quick and efficient. I went with my 3 sons for a mom/son date night and we got a pizza for them and I got a chicken quesadillas. They do not have a children’s menu, but they said they could modify stuff. It would be nice if they added a small kids menu, just for options kids can decide on versus a verbal description of modifications. At first my picky son was annoyed it took so long for the pizza and then it looked burnt, but to his delight upon trying it, he really liked it and asked for more. The dough is sweet and the pizza had great flavor. My quesadillas were very good as well. The owner, Bob, came around and chatted with us, he was super friendly and personable. There were tvs everywhere and it was kind of loud in there, but that is the environment, it’s expected. We’ll be back though, we had a nice dinner.

One page menu. So it's simple. It's also limited. They were even out of some of the items listed. Such as Teriyaki sauce for the wings. The wings were tasty. Yet they were missing something. My wife got the boneless wings and said she liked them. My main issue was on the beer. Menu listed having draft Labatt's Blue Light. Nope. Didn't have it or they were out. I had to settle for Miller Light. Which is a poor substitute. I hope. I don't have to settle for Miller Light. On our next trip to Canton. To visit the Pub. We hope Bob's new place survives. We miss the Library Pub.

My wife and boys love the Corner Pub! The pizza and cheese bread is amazing. Perfect Detroit style. My boys love that they have megatouch(touchscreen games) and always ask to go the “pizza and games” place. I have come up here with friends as well and sat at the bar and the bartenders are always gracious and fun. Love this place and can’t suggest it enough!!

This is a nice, casual place to meet up with friends and share a few beers. Tuesdays they offer $2 draft pints. The beer they offer ranges from your low level beers all the way up to a number of craft beer offerings. The staff is friendly and never had to look for our waitress. The food offerings are your standard pub fare. Burgers, wings, sandwiches and pizza. They are not shy about the prices they charge for food. I order the fish sandwich with chips. The sandwich was average and the breading was disappointing. When I ordered fish and chips, I expected French fries as in your classic order of "British fish and chips". Instead I got potato chips. I even ordered an additional order of chips with my take out believing I was ordering fries. Why would anyone order an additional very expensive bar potato chips?? But I will take this one because it said it came with a few choices. But still. I wish that would have been clarified. With what my friends ordered they had the same sentiment about the food. Perhaps we will give the pizza a go next time ? So definitely go there for the $2...

Came in for happy hour. Sat ourselves and were helped promptly. They only offered beer/wine/call liquor specials. (Pretty ok pricing)

We were there mainly for food.

Two of us ordered sliders, side salad with chicken, and fries.

Wanted to like it, but was only ok. Sliders were very thin portion of burger meat, even for slider standards. Little over done on the flat top. Very few onions. Salad lettuce didn't seem especially fresh. Chicken was warm but didn't seem "grilled". Ranch was good. We opted for seasoned fries and generous portion here. Seasoning seemed just seasoning salt. This may be taste and I expected to have pepper garlic salt chili powder...etc.

Overall was about $45-$50 for those items and a few beers.

Seemed like a lot for the quality...
