Prepare your taste buds for a culinary journey like no other at Shisho Palace, a Lebanese gem nestled in the heart of Canton. From the moment you step inside, you're transported to a realm of tantalizing aromas and exquisite flavors. Let's start with the star of the show: the freshly made pita bread. Each fluffy round is a testament to culinary perfection, warm from the oven and boasting a delicate char that adds depth to every bite. The texture is sublime, with a satisfying chewiness that pairs flawlessly with the array of dips and spreads on offer. But Shisho Palace offers far more than just exceptional bread. Every dish is a work of art, meticulously crafted with the finest ingredients and a passion for authentic Lebanese cuisine. Whether you're indulging in tender shawarma, succulent kebabs, or vibrant salads bursting with freshness, each mouthful is a symphony of flavors that dance across your palate. The ambiance is equally enchanting, with elegant decor that combines traditional elements with modern flair. Whether you're dining with friends, family, or that special someone, Shisho Palace provides the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable dining experience. But what truly sets Shisho Palace apart is its unwavering commitment to excellence. From the warm hospitality of the owner and staff to the attention to detail in every dish, it's clear that this is more than just a restaurant – it's a labor of love. In conclusion, if you're craving authentic Lebanese cuisine that's sure to delight your senses, look no further than Shisho Palace. And be sure to indulge in the freshly made pita bread – it's an experience you won't soon forget.

Several years ago, there were such unsanitary conditions in the bathroom, that we vowed never to return. We hoped things changed with the latest name change. The food tasted great, and we truly enjoyed their fresh, warm pita bread (really the highlight of their restaurant, along with their lentil soup). The wait staff and management congregating at the cash wrap was a little off-putting, but some places don't care about this, and LaShisho is apparently one of them. Anyway, we ordered too much food, and boxed up enough leftovers for the four of us to eat for dinner the next night too. The food heats up nicely on a lined cookie sheet in the oven at a low temp. Unfortunately, we didn't get too far into the meal when my husband bit into a sharp piece of metal, from who knows what. It was a thin, sharp piece of metal with a jagged end that had the potential to tear someone's throat and esophagus if it'd been swallowed. See photo. I contacted the restaurant to let them know what we found and that we were concerned. They never called back or replied to the email. Poor customer service. In my opinion, this place is still poorly run, unsafe, and not a place we will ever visit again. Ever, regardless of what they change their name to.

I came in with my boys for lunch, we were seated right away by the host, and he was also our server. He was super nice, and quick. We ordered hummus/pita, fattoush salad, chicken tenders/fries, rice and chicken shawarma sandwiches. I was a bit disappointed in the taste of the food to be honest. The pita was fluffy and puffy and airy and was delicious with the hummus and garlic sauce. The chicken tenders looked greasy and overcooked and my son only ate one. The fries were tasty as I tried one. The salad was doused in dressing (way too much) and I should have asked for it to be on the side. The rice was very good. The chicken shawarma sandwiches were mainly dark meat and looked like chopped chicken, it was unappetizing unfortunately. Also, the wrap was toasted so it crumbled when you bit in. Not what I hoped for when I came, but it was worth a try. As a side note, when you come inside the vestibule, be careful the door hits the chandelier, and moves it. It probably should be raised up so it doesn’t get hit.

We had a doordash order tonight and we ordered 6 "tenderloin seared saji" sandwiches. When my husband brought home the order, we saw that instead of the lamb that is written on the menu they had made all of them with chicken. I called them to let them know of their mistake, as our guests did not like chicken that's why we ordered the tenderloin lamb.

The man who answered their phone (either the owner or manager) stated that "if you order the tenderloin saji you have to specify lamb or chicken or we automatically give you chicken " that was simply wrong as their menu clearly states that tenderloin is with lamb and they have a separate chicken seared saji on the menu. AGAIN he insisted that we did not specify if we wanted lamb, and I said the Doordash interface did not prompt for chicken vs lamb and the special instructions were disabled, and explain to me why you would have a chicken seared sajji on the menu twice. He scoffed and said its my fault for ordering Doordash and to take it up with them. The level of customer service at this place is atrocious they don't even know their own menu. I said that's ridiculous if your customer is unhappy with a "mistake" in the Doordash menu it is your responsibility to let Doordash know not mine. He again argued that I shouldn't have used Doordash, their tenderloin saji = automatic chicken saji and not the lamb they falsely advertise and this is all my fault for using Doordash and i should be cakling them not him.

No apologies, no responsibility, zero customer service.

With so many great restaurants opening in the area, and zero service from Shisho, we will NEVER EVER go back to this place ever again, with or without Doordash. We will let friends and family know as well.

Here is the promised review I have for this restaurant before I hung up the phone. Steer clear. Food: 2/5 |...

We went one evening and the waiter was very kind and checked on us multiple times. Because of our great experience we decided to return the next week with some guests we had over. The same waiter took our order and then bought out 3/4 of our order saying enjoy.. and ran off without telling us if the 4th dish was coming out or not. We had to wave and get up to get his attention for ketchup and ask about our remaining order, he bought it out 25 min later when we were done eating everything and ran off immediately Without listening to a word.. I was speaking to him telling him how he bought out the 4th dish so late we thought he forgot about it and we wanted to order a few more things but he ran off. I was shocked that this was the same waiter as the other day. Surprisingly the place was not busy either.. so im not sure why he had to run off and hide behind the soda machine every 2 seconds. This day he did not seem normal. He ran off, didn’t check on us even once to ask if we need anything else or any drinks.. even our water was not refilled. He avoided our table completely and threw us half our order and said enjoy. He threw the bill at us and didnt even ask us if we’re done, need anything else, or apologize for any confusion regarding our delayed food. Completely rude, ignorant , arrogant and racist. Will never go back here due to terrible service, ignorant waiters. Dining in isnt just about the food, it’s about the service you receive. I hope this waiter gets fired or quits because of his...
