I’ve always been pleased with my experience at this store, but today was an exception. After spending 45 minutes assembling a Yobest playpen, I was told they couldn’t accept it due to a small tear in the mesh and stains, all of which could’ve been determined WITHOUT assembly. I then spent yet another 30 minutes disassembling it. I will not be doing business with them anymore. Facebook Marketplace would’ve been a smarter option. In response to your reply: You are missing the point entirely. I COMPLETELY understand and appreciate that you only want quality merchandise. To address your points, which aren’t relevant to my issue: Your staff isn’t being truthful with you. I never said it was in perfect condition and no one ever asked the condition. No one asked to help me either. My point is this: The fabric could’ve been inspected WITHOUT assembly. It would’ve saved a lot of time and effort; I would’ve left a happy customer. I advise that you do this in the future and save customers the headache.

Response to owner: so what you’re saying is you were to busy to show humility but wasn’t too busy to know what exact cart i had? So you think i stole it or was using for bad? Is that why i was being watched by the guy but couldn’t ask me if i needs help ? It was only me in the store at the time. As stated it’s my second time, the first time i got nothing from no one i had to ask for help. This time i got one person which is fine but your greeting is one of the most important parts of someone’s day especially when they are new it’s a first impressiona and shows who you are and what you have to offer. Anyone can walk into your store so i definitely don’t feel welcome neither do my kids. As far as the buggy i have two kids. It was found by Michaels so it was perfect because the first time i came into your store your buggy’s are to small for my 4 yr old who has to be pushed in something or he will wonder. If that was a question to problem i would’ve loved to have a conversation. Again ive never been stopped or asked but others have so your right maybe its ME not anyone else. We’ve been in twice and it’s not busy and there’s many opportunities because I’m in there for a while. Even at the check out, no one ever ask do i find everything ok no type of info given. Everyone is silent and talking amongst each other. I have very good discernment to know right from wrong, truth from not truth and that’s why i gave you another shot! But its no change. There is no excuse when it comes to customer service and new people. It’s very uncomfortable actually also to mention the first time i went i stood there for a while wanting to ask a question and no one came to me they saw me and the girl that was talking to someone about a bassinet looked and me and kept talking. Giving your best is no matter what the situation is your going out your way to make others day even better. Also you mention asked customers for help I’ve never gotten that and that actually should be the first thing after the greeting. Based off the only guy sayi n something to a lady that walked in after me, tells me EVERYTHING I NEED TO KNOW! I say all this with love. Also you’re veteran right? Review: I actually like coming here to pick up my kids a few things as they grow, but my only complaint is that staff is not very welcoming or friendly. I didn’t even know they took items so i would’ve loved to be given that info since this is my second time coming. Everytime i walk in with my kids i get starred at or just like im not there and im not 100% sure why…. Only one person will say something but no one will ask if i need help. Everything is just still When someone behind me came in i heard 2 ppl one being the male welcome her but that’s just my observation. i never get help everything is just quite that would be the only reason why i couldn’t come back the cashier was super sweet she was the only one said anything other than that it’s like crickets when i come in i would bring in my items but im skeptical only because i paid good money for all my kids clothes and items and i want to be treated fair and based off first and second impressions i don’t think i would that’s it that’s all but they do have really cute items sizing though can be very confusing which is why i would have loved an extra help especially with two fussy kids. Let me start by saying they do a phenomenal job with organizing this store, which is the only reason I gave two stars instead of one. And the tall girl with blonde hair was friendly, kind and courteous. She, unlike anyone else heard my reservation about an item and let me know about a return policy. Even her manager didn’t do that.

However, I felt that I was a bother for asking for a discount on an item. The female manager, in my opinion, was rude. It happened to be grandparents day so I asked if they could honor the discount anyways since there were small beads on an over priced item and I wasn’t sure if it would fit my son. I didn’t ask for it on everything, I asked for ONE ITEM. The manager told me no but if there was a stain, then sure. I said, “so even if my mom comes up here, you would give her the discount because she is a grandparent but you aren’t willing to go ahead and do it for me on this one item?” She replied, “yes”. My mom was on her way up there when I realized it was going to be too late and I had to get my child to swim lessons. I felt so talked about by the employees that I didn’t even want to ask if they would hold it for me. I noticed on a flyer, they give first responder and military discounts which she told me, it didn’t apply to nurses. We aren’t considered a first responder. I understand this is their policy and they get to enforce it or not but In a world full of options, there are other places with WAY better customer service. To the female manager, you never have to be mean to get a point across. But as a customer, had I been short and rude like that to you at a hospital, I’m sure you would’ve been upset too. Maybe in the future you can extend an olive branch and maybe just extend some kinder verbiage and overall mannerisms in general. I’m choosing to leave two stars, because I think the selection of this store deserves that much, at least.

I used to love coming to this store, because it was always so clean, organized, and they usually had a really cute selection at decent prices. But this last time I visited left such a bad taste in my mouth. I was going through the shoe bins and there were ants everywhere! When I let the ladies know up front they just (very dismissively) laughed it off, saying they were overrun. As if it was hopeless to even try to get rid of them.

Honestly, I wasn’t really sure how to respond to that, so I went back to see if any of the other bins were affected. All the ones I checked were, and after a few (unsuccessful) minutes of trying to look through the shoes without getting bit, I was over it. I put what I had initially planned to purchase back on the racks and left. Thankfully I noticed the dang things before my kids started trying on shoes.

I get that infestations happen, and I know they’re a pain to deal with. But the total lack of concern on the part of the employees was baffling. Sure, problems like this happen, but problems like this can also be prevented and treated, not simply allowed to run rampant around your business and bite...
