Techy Canton GA - Inside Walmart — Local services in Canton

A few weeks ago, I visited this place with my LG phone, which was locked with a password. The guy, Jim, said he could fix it and that it would cost $40. He charged me upfront and asked me to pick up the phone after some time.

Firstly, he should have told me that even though the password or passcode would be removed, the phone would still require the Gmail account to unlock it. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened. He wiped the phone completely, knowing it would ask for the Gmail account to gain access, but he failed to inform me of this. I paid $40 but am still locked out, and my money was wasted. This is pure negligence and bad business. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Big time scam

I went to this store for a Moto G Stylus repair, and honestly, the experience was frustrating. First, they didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Then, they quoted me $260 just to fix it…when a brand new, unlocked Moto G Stylus 2023 costs $210! How does that even make sense? I just wanted to get my data off the phone, not buy a new one!

Called another store nearby, and guess what? They had the screen in stock, did the same repair, and made my phone good as new for way less than what these guys were charging. This is ridiculous. Be transparent and honest instead of throwing out absurd prices. Half the staff doesn’t even know the pricing they have to call their boss just to...
