Dos Margaritas — Restaurant in Canton

We have been going to this restaurant for at least the past 15-18 years. Usually the staff is amazing even engaging and friendly and funny. The food is always delicious and even was on this occasion. However we went there last week for my dads birthday dinner. We called a head at 12 for a large party at 730pm. When we arrived the usual kind tall skinny waiter was short and aggravated with our large party and we were told when we called ahead we would have the party room. He very aggravated pushed 2 tables into a booth table to make 3 tables and it was crowded and we needed a high but couldn’t fit one due to to many people and chairs with all our guest. No big problem we just went with it but it was not busy is was not crowed put her then a few other tables besides our big party and the party room wasn’t being used. We all ordered and a couple of us tried new menu items and I guess some of those included rice and beans and we didn’t know that. The shorter usually very nice and even funny waiter was out actual waiter took our orders. After a short wait I short older man with a kind of mohawk(?) hair style brought out 2 plates of rice and beans. He was SCREAMING very rudely for whoever ordered it to speak up and getting aggressive and angry. After we couldn’t figure where they went he took them back to the kitchen. Shortly after he brought our food. He was still yelling and very aggressive about handing out food. I was holding my baby and he was wanting me to push my sister in laws food across the table but the plate was hot he was trying to tell me to grab napkins and push the plate over to her but I wasn’t understanding and he yelling with a lot of anger word for word “ be smart hot plate your holding baby hot plate hot plate move it, be smart be smart be smart” he was so hateful and mean it upset my 7 year old and my brother was told there wasn’t one there. He told him that man better not come back to our table and he agreed and apologized. The man didn’t come back to our table but was going to other tables being overly nice and almost making it a scene after he screamed at my family and treated us like trash. I’m not sure what’s wrong with the staff but they have drastically gone down hill. It’s sad because the food is so good but I will literally throw money away before I return to...

First let me say, I was recommended this place by two different people and the food was good, the prices great. But I will absolutely not be back after my experience this evening.

Once the food was dropped off we never saw the waiter again. My son drained his drink and they never came to refill it or ask if we wanted anything else.

Attached is a photo of a piece of plastic I found in my nachos, it is obviously from the cheese or lettuce bag when they tore it open. I politely informed our waiter Carlos who used a fork to move it around and said no it was not from there and laughed like I was trying to get something over on him. I did not ask for a refund or for them to remake my food. I told him so he could inform their kitchen to be more careful. I've worked in a restaurant before I know people can be terrible but I am not like that and I was not being like that.

My friend that I invited to dinner with me, didn't like her drink, had one sip and asked for something else and they told her she had to pay for the lesser priced item she asked for. She would have paid, she didn't need to be told they would add it to her bill. But they wanted to make a point of telling her.

She then asked to speak to a manager and he said there was no manager.

There were even more issues when we got to the register but I chalk that up to the lady needing more training.

All in all, I wish I could say the good tasting, great priced food, that came out fast can make up for the terrible service, but I can't. It's...

I used to come here all the time as a kid because my mom worked here and everyone was always so kind and attentive but I feel like it’s gone down hill since then. My parents & brother & my husband & son went for dinner her about 1-1 1/2 before they closed & everything seemed to start off okay until the waiter took a while to come back to take our order & also seemed annoyed when we asked him for a cheese dip appetizer. I also forgot to order my son something to eat so I went & found out waiter & again he was annoyed. The main reason I’m making this review is because when our waiter brought out the cheese dip my mom went to pour some of it onto a plate for my son & it slipped out of her hands & spilled everywhere. So we again had to hunt down the server to ask for a towel to wipe the table down. He didn’t offeR us another cheese dio we had to ask ourselves. TWICE! My mom asked & then my husband. He barely came back the rest of our meal and when the bill came we noticed one cheese dip on my parents check & another on mine & my husbands. When we asked him why he said it was because my husband asked for another one & we said no he was asking for a replacement for the one my mom accidentally spilled. He said that it wasn’t his fault she spilled it. And we informed him that yes but it was still an accident & we didn’t even eat the first one.
