First thing first, BIG kudos to Dr. Irish, Dr. Charmaine and Nurse Carol!

My daughter experienced difficulty breathing around 2 a.m. on Day 3 of our trip. We immediately called 911 using the room phone, and Nurse Carol answered. Despite the late hour, she promptly instructed us to come down to the clinic. When we arrived, Dr. Charmaine Egca quickly assessed the situation and made all the right decisions—this was at 2–3 AM in the morning, and yet her calm professionalism and swift actions were extraordinary. She tested my daughter and confirmed it was Flu A. Dr. Charmaine administered a nebulization treatment that significantly eased her breathing difficulties and congestion, and also gave her ibuprofen to manage the fever. The clinic provided us with all the necessary devices for monitoring her condition, which was incredibly reassuring and comforting during such a difficult time.

The following day, we returned to the clinic for a scheduled appointment, and Dr. Irish conducted a thorough and extremely detailed check-up. She explained my daughter’s condition, provided clear instructions, and presented multiple treatment options, including Tamiflu. Despite all efforts, my daughter’s fever remained around 102°F, and the rotation of Tylenol and ibuprofen wasn’t effectively bringing it down. This made us very anxious again. Dr. Irish was extremely PROFESSIONAL AND EXPERIENCED. She gave my daughter additional nebulization treatments to prevent further breathing difficulties. She provided us with ice gel packs, ice, and another thermometer, explaining that the infrared one might not be accurate in such situations. She also gave us another form of medicine and some kids don’t respond well to oral Tylenol. She sent a very DETAILED care plan with scenarios.

Dr Irish’s experience and expertise shone through in every interaction. She called us multiple times to follow up, ensuring my daughter was recovering well and adjusting the treatment plan as needed.

We eventually decided to use Tamiflu, and dr Irish sent us another extremely DETAILED calculation and instructions that gave me huge peace of mind as a worried mother. Once my daughter began taking Tamiflu, her recovery was rapid—her fever subsided within 1 day.

Throughout this time, we reached out to the clinic multiple times, often outside their regular operating hours. Dr. Irish NEVER hesitated to help. She was always available, compassionate, proactive and supportive. She called us multiple times and even late in the night to remind us of taking medicine on time and double / triple validate we understood the dosage/caring instructions/ how to respond in different scenario.

Nurse Ma Angeline also worked extra hours to help us out.

What also amazed us was the incredible level of care and support offered at no extra charge. The clinic’s isolation and quarantine protocols were great as well, ensuring the safety of everyone on board. Our room was thoroughly sanitized by our housekeeper, Dennis, whose attention to detail and dedication did not go unnoticed.

We are incredibly thankful to Royal Caribbean for having such an exceptional medical team. Dr. Irish, Dr. Charmaine, Nurse Carol, Nurse Ma Angeline and everyone who supported us went above and beyond to provide care and comfort during a stressful time. Their willingness to work extra hours, their compassion, and their ability to go the extra mile to ensure the well-being of my daughter and our family truly touched our hearts.

This experience will be the highlight of our stories when recommending Royal Caribbean to families, especially those traveling with young children or elderly relatives.

May God bless Dr. Irish, Dr. Charmaine, Nurse Carol, and Nurse Ma Angeline the entire medical crew. Your kindness, professionalism, and dedication will never...

Just returned from a 5-night cruise to Costa Maya, Mexico and Cozumel, Mexico. We had a wonderful trip. We had great weather. The food on the chip was outstanding. Lots of activities on the ship for people of all ages. Santa even stopped on Christmas Day to give the children a gift!

In Costa Maya, we rented golf carts. It was a great way to explore the area. We stopped at a beach and went snorkeling. We enjoyed chips and guacamole under a cabana. Since the trolley was not running due to the Christmas holiday, it was about a mile walk to the golf cart rental place from the port. It was well worth the walk.

In Cozumel, we went on a dune buggy excursion and had a blast! We stopped at a beach to snorkel. It was a yellow flag day, so there was a bit of a current and choppy water but it was still fun. The guides (Gabrielle and Eduardo) were knowledgeable about the sea life. Then we went to a Tequila factory and a chocolate factory. We enjoyed chips, salsa, and guacamole with a beautiful view of the beach.

On our way back to the port, we drove through the town where many of the locals live. It was a wonderful excursion and a great way to see Cozumel that is beyond the port.

If you do the dune buggy excursion, the dune buggy was more like a chopped off car. Not exactly what we were envisioning. Most of the cars were manual transmissions. Good thing we knew how to drive a stick! We thought we would be off-reading on a beach but instead, we drove on roads. In some spots, there was some traffic. This excursion was still fun even though it was not what we...

Just returned from a 4 nights cruise, unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to go to Nassau Bahamas, so we were stuck on the boat for two solid days. We had excellent food and service in Chops Grill, Izumi's and Jaime's Italian grill. The ship is on the smaller side, but it was out first cruise and it was what was recommended to us for our Anniversary. So, not a lit of different choices for our liking, but many for partiers. This is great for people who love to drink and love screaming children running around everywhere. (In all fairness, our anniversary is around spring break, so the boat had over 1000 children on it). We love kids, but not disrespectful, rude, screaming kids running into you constantly. This is an excellent choice for those who love to get drunk and let their kids run around alone and stay up until 1AM and not care where they are. Our suite was our sanctuary and we loved the balcony and beautiful quiet ocean waves crashing. The sunrises and sunsets were wonderful. We made the best of it and were thankful to get to have the experience. If you have a healthy lifestyle and are a clean eater, this is not a great option. We recommend this ship for all those who live other people in their face, love to drink amd party. This...

How can I begin…..it was our very first cruise ever. I told my husband if we are going to do a cruise we are going Royal (high class) lol and it was more than I ever expected it. It was ROYAL for sure and the way we got served was unbelievable, at dinner time this employees give it all, they help me to sit down, they serve food quickly, they place a napkin on my lap, they picked dishes right away, they removed the utensils we don’t needed from the table , just really wonderful and professional. The food oh WOW that’s all we did…eat, eat and eat. The food very flavorful and beautiful presentation and the desserts 🧁 ay ay ay soooo good. Room were comfortable and we chose the balcony and I LOVE It! we will do it again in a heartbeat. Also they have PLENTY of activities for the family, my favorite were the Musical Theater. 🎭 unbelievable shows. Thank you Royal- Mariner of the Seas for giving us such a nice and Royal vacation. I recommend 💯 %

So many layers to this experience most of the food was good that was included for free but dining service with them was average...The adult entertainment was so very funny 😂😂 if you go on this you have to keep an eye 👁️ on the itinerary..In any case I would go again because this cruise was very entertaining and we had bad weather for 2 days but this ship kept everyone happy with the trivia , shows and casino..I do love kids and we usually go Disney but having kids in the bar sections of the ship I didn't appreciate also unattended kids playing on elevators and taking people's magnets off their doors...5 Stars instead of 4 basically because of one place Izumi and this is one of the best Hibachi grill I have been to with phenomenal food and energy 👍💯
