Rayfield's Pharmacy — Local services in Cape Charles

Food: we all had burgers and fries and it was good. Service: servers were very friendly and attentive. All staff helped do all tasks. Cleanliness: this is why I can't give more stars. We sat at the bar because the booths didn't look like they had ever been wiped. Even at the bar I had to wipe off the counter. The cook was touching the food without gloves which I am absolutely against especially when your cooking in the customers view. The only reason I didn't complain was because I did see her wash her hands before starting to work. Another staff member cleaned off a dirty table and brought all the dishes to the sink before looking at the silverware(mixed with everything else) and saying they didn't look used and put them with the clean stuff, if it comes off a used table it should be washed.

There was no toilet paper...

I really wanted to like this place. It has a cute gift area, but doesn’t carry magnets or postcards the are Cape Charles themed. The staff is very kind, and that goes a long way. It carries several basic items one might need while away from home. Unfortunately, it kind of goes downhill from there. We ate there, and the food was not very good. Plus, the service was very slow. When we were ordering lunch, there were still two tables waiting to get their breakfast. In addition, the dining area was untidy. The menus can use a good wiping. The bathroom can also do with some TLC. This could be a really great spot, but with so many other restaurants, I would choose to...

This family owned place is wonderful. Whenever I come back to town I stop in and say hi! I grew up w/Severn & Berkley. Berkley’s kids and my kids use to have play dates together. This and all the Rayfield locations are professional and super friendly(Eastern Shore,VA)style. This pharmacy makes sure their customers in town and out of town are well taken care of. They are very accurate and precise on every script being filled. The restaurant side of it, is good. Southern homemade food with a smile. Stop in and check them out...
