Me and my three friends were in bell just walking around finding clothes to try on, trying to have fun (fyi we weren’t the only group of girls walking around) and we were trying to find a dressing room. (Not to mention this place was filthy and disorganized) and when we were done changing we showed our outfits to each other this staff member with extremely long dark brown hair told us we had to LEAVE because we were trying on clothes. CLOTHES. and we said ok starting changing back. Also this changing room had only two rooms and was disgusting with clothes everywhere and pins too. We walked out and the same lady was recording us, accusing us of stealing our OWN CLOTHES that we WALKED IN with. Two of my friends were Lululemon align tanks, WHICH THEY DEFINITELY DO NOT sell and we said we didn’t and my friend over heard a lady saying to the clerk harassing us to FOLLOW US OUTSIDE. We were walking and she called us over and asked to CHECK OUR TAGS OF OUR CLOTHES. I was wearing a school shirt so I told her I couldn’t have stolen since it was an online order. It was absolutely awful there, I am definitely...
Read moreI’m done with Belk. Bought a silver and blue sapphire ring 10 months ago. The top side of the ring cracked in the silver. It came with a 1 year warranty. Without seeing the ring, pictures or speaking to me Belk decided it was from ware and not under the warranty. The ring has been worn maybe 12 times. When I responded to their email asking how they made the decision, they just didn’t respond. Really disappointed and can’t believe their short sighted response. They have lost a family of shoppers over an issue that would have costed them nothing. A 10 month old silver ring should not crack. The manufacturer would have credited them for the replacement. So sad. I only live 2 miles away. Back to Kohl’s and others for...
Read moreI have shopped here on and off for about 2 years now. Well today I stop in and was going to buy a shirt they was on special for $24.99. But when I went to pay for it, it ranged up for $65 (the shirt isn’t worth that price). I told the lady the sign says $24.99 she said not for plus size it was one size larger and they wanted $41 MORE!!! So I guess Belks is in the discrimination business now. If I were the manager (20+ years of experience of management experience) I would have just marked it down to $24.99 and have a happy and look like a hero. Instead the young lady that was the manager (black lady I didn’t get her name) just looked at me like I was stupid and decided to be a zero instead. I won’t shop...
