My family and I had the most fantastic time at the tiki bar, all thanks to the incredible service provided by Kenia. From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. Throughout the entire evening, Kenia's attention to detail and genuine care for her customers shone through.

Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she guided us through the delicious array of tropical drinks and mouthwatering dishes, ensuring we had an unforgettable dining experience. Kenia's recommendations were spot on, and she even accommodated some special dietary requests with ease.

But what made our evening even more special was how passionately Kenia spoke about the amazing chef and kitchen staff. She couldn't stop bragging about their culinary talents, and her enthusiasm was contagious. I've been waiting awhile to try this place & decided to go today. There were 9 in my party. I had a cheeseburger that was delish! One of my daughter's had the Mahi & it was small portioned and tough. How do you have tough fish, I don't know. Cooked too long? Another daughter had a Poke Bowl that she said was very good, also small portioned. 2 young men with us had the Ruben, which was ample in size, and they said very good, although the coleslaw was rather blah. The Chef salad was well portioned and good. Someone ordered a side salad too & and it was also ample. There were 3 kids meals ordered as well. One kids meal was shrimp & they gave so many shrimp, I thought it was an adult lunch entree. A second one was fish fingers. This was also an ample portion and didn't appear like a kids meal. The only thing small was the plate they were on. Those were left uneated as they were actually too large & not kid finger friendly. The fish was just ok & tasteless. The third was mac n cheese. We also took a carryout home. It was the Buffalo Mac n cheese. The portion of macaroni was less than the kids & there were 5 tiny pieces of chicken tossed in also. Very disappointing. So all in all, about 50% of the meal was fully enjoyed. The atmosphere is wonderful and beachy. The waitress we had was INCREDIBLE! Torched is a great spot, and that's the topic sentence I intend to make sure comes across. I'd give 4.5 stars if possible. I live nearby and have visited on 8 occasions. What I like/appreciate: The live music is tastefully set up in such a manner that the sound/speakers do not completely drown out the ambiance. You can enjoy the music and still maintain a conversation. The service has been consistent with any expectations each visit. Their food is delicious, and often offered with significant savings deals/offers. (You can NOT beat $1 beers and $6 tacos/chips!) Additionally, the staff here showed a lot of camaraderie and magnanimity during the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Ian, distributing food for neighbors. (that act of generosity alone warrants my business) What I do NOT like: Rather unfortunately, 7/8 of my visits to Torched have experienced (bizarrely) an inordinate amount of flies incessantly disturbing me/other customers. If this was a 1 off, I doubt I would've noticed... but seven separate times over the past 2 years. (2 under the tiki, 3 at the bar, and 2 in the main restaurant. It's not just an outdoor problem, or "you're sitting near the entrance, what do you expect" problem. In all honesty, the fly bombardments have become a sort-of-joke at this point.
