I’m writing to express my disappointment with a recent experience I had with your store regarding my annual non-dairy ice cream cake order.

Each year, I choose your establishment specifically because you offer non-dairy ice cream options, which is extremely important to me. When I called on Thursday to place my order, the employee I spoke with listed several exciting non-dairy flavors—Snickers and raspberry cheesecake among them. I initially selected Snickers, but while still on the phone, I changed my mind and asked to switch it to raspberry cheesecake. She confirmed the change without issue.

However, the day I was scheduled to pick up the cake, I received a call from another employee informing me that raspberry cheesecake is not a non-dairy flavor after all. I was very disappointed—not only because I was misinformed, but also because I had no time to find another bakery that could make a non-dairy cake on such short notice.

In the end, the cake was made with a non-dairy peanut butter chocolate ice cream, but it was topped with dairy frosting, which defeats the purpose of ordering a non-dairy cake in the first place. I was offered a $2 coupon as compensation, but in my opinion, that does very little to address the inconvenience and frustration of having to change the entire order and still receiving something with dairy in it.

I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as I’ve been a loyal customer and was genuinely excited to hear about your non-dairy options—only to be let down by miscommunication and a lack of attention to...

I've been taking my kids to this place for the last 8-10 years at leas. It's still their favorite place and one is a teenager and the other is a pre-teen. The atmosphere is nice and casual, and the shop and sitting area is clean. It's become a tradition to go around our birthdays. I've always had good service. Once in awhile there might've been an off day, but overall, the service has been good and it beats other places I've been to. We always loved the quality of the ice cream. Considering the quality, I never looked at their prices. Plus if you buy their membership, there's a discount. The ice cream itself is dense and the flavors tastes authentic. My favorite flavor of all time is "Red Velvet Cake." It's not there all the time, but they let you request your favorite flavor over the phone or in person and they call you back when it comes in. I make it a point to request for it when I know I go there with my family and buy a quart of it for myself. I’ll start off by saying that this shop was the perfect stop for my family while visiting Cape Coral from New York, while craving ice cream ! The menu was exciting and the bubble waffle was phenomenal! I had 3 kids with me along with 2 other adults who were excited for a friendly experience which we did not receive. The young girl who waited on my family seemed super annoyed with our order and I felt extremely rushed (which trust me I know how annoying an uncertain customer can be) but being in the front end of the house means having to have patience. I just feel like she should of gone a little extra mile to make an experience memorable at a super cool ice cream shop.( Ex: she didn’t even ask if we wanted any toppings or whipped cream) it’s just the little things in life that matter… still doesn’t change the fact that my family enjoyed the delicious ice cream.
