STS Repair — Local services in Cape Girardeau

Took my amazon tablet here for screen replacement, been through 3 screens within the warranty period I got.

After first one was put on, it was the wrong screen (touch screen didn't register right). Second screen that was put on seemed to fade the picture quality. After I took it back on 3rd try the techs did put a different screen on again but since this one was put on my volume & power buttons is stuck down in the device & don't function proper, and the device is heavier since screen 3...

I've taken it back several times & shipped it there to get it corrected. I don't think they currently got right screen on it. Seems like a thicker screen? I think I should of either jus settled with the 2nd screen or taken it somewhere else. (The 2nd screen was best that it turned out. Everything worked great!!!)

I have to find somewhere else to take it, i'm 9 days past warranty, stuck with a device difficult to use, & the Sikeston store wont do anything with it...totally not happy

I took it to sts because my local computer shop @ Perryville recommended them to me, said they was the best to take it to and because the tablet was from my mother as the last xmas gift I got from her before her passing.

I wish we could've got this tablet back to it's original shape or at least how it was with the 2nd screen. Sts is the only ones in the Cape area that's able to do tablets. I know their capable of this repair.....jus a matter of motivating em to do it.

Things they don’t tell you when you buy a computer or phone is having maintenance/service done on it annually. One of the main issues I have with computers and cell phones is finding a reliable company that can do servicing like STS Repair? My computer died so I took it to STS to see if they could resurrect it from the dead? If not at least try and extract my old Data off my hard- drive. The staff was very friendly and professional. Talked with Ben and Roger. Roger told me it may be a few days or so when I dropped it off which I said fine. So, I got a call later saying it was shot but they were able to salvage Data off my old hard drive? So, I went down and downloaded it and took a tour of their facility and took a few images of the departed computer. I was surprised how loaded it was with dust inside which basically destroyed it as dust conducts and can shorts out the boards as well as cook the main CPU. So word of caution, you might want to give these guys a shout at STS repair if you want to extend the life of your computers/phones they have seen it all and sure is cheaper then buying a new one? Thanks...

I have had family and friends recommend STS Repair in the past. They always said that the work was great and price was affordable. I recently dropped my iPhone 15 Pro and cracked the screen. I called and they said that they had a screen in stock, so I went to drop it off to be fixed. When I got there, I handed them my phone and was prepared to come back a few hours later and pick it up. The gentleman took a look at my phone and said "Wait, it looks like you have a tempered glass cover" and proceeded to take that off and show me that the phone was, in fact, completely undamaged. I had forgotten that I put that on there. My mistake. He could've completely rooked me and taken the phone, pulled that screen off when I left, not do any work, and charge me full price for the replacement but he didn't do that. This review is about honesty and integrity. Not all businesses would have done the same thing. From here on out, if I need any repairs done on my phone or tablet, I will be taking them to STS Repairs. Keep up...
