Scoops in Carnegie is the latest in the "chain" of Scoops throughout the Pittsburgh area. Specializing in Hershey's and Perry's ice cream, vegan options are available including a milkshake using almond milk. In addition to ice cream frozen ice cream cakes, candies, and beverages are for sale. Price includes tax but you are permitted to sample from their long list of flavors. Indoor seating occupies part of the area that was once "the Flying Squirrel." There is no rewards program. Some of the ice creams have interesting names such as "Pittsburgh pothole." Very good ice cream in an area of town much lacking in...

My fiance and I are big ice cream enthusiasts and love trying new spots! We decided to try out Scoops before a show at the Roxian and oh my gosh it was AMAZING. First of all, the whole place is so cute and there are soo many different flavors to choose from! I went with a scoop of the Coconut ice cream and a scoop of the Brownie Batter.. it was some of the best ice cream I've ever had!! My fiance had a brownie batter milkshake and he said it was one of the best milkshakes he's ever had! We live an hour away but we are planning on stopping back really soon because it was...

The old fashioned decor is a welcomed site when you walk in. You can immediately smell the freshly prepared waffle cones as you get close to the shop. As soon as you walk in you'll see the friendly staff preparing them too. It was neat to watch.

The assortment of ice cream flavors are as diverse as they are delicious. I tried the Lemon Chello and Peach... I've never tasted ice cream this good. Our 17 month old daughter had the peanut butter yogurt and loved it. It was her first time...
