DO NOT shop at this Wings location. The employees are rude, treat you like you are a liar and do not care that you spent money on an item that you took out of the plastic bag to use, opened it up to only find that it was already broken. We Purchased a $27 beach umbrella on Sunday because we knew it was going to rain while at the beach. We opened the umbrella up the next morning to use out in the rain on the beach and one of the metal prongs was broken. We brought back to see if we could exchange as the receipt says exchange only within seven days with receipt, tags attached and packaging unopened. Well in order to use the umbrella you must take it out of the package. Why should customers be responsible for an item that is already broken in a package without even knowing that it is broken until they go use it? Knowing the policy we thought we could exchange for maybe a better quality umbrella, but we were told because it was opened we were not even allowed to exchange the product. I truly canât even believe that this is something they could do, they basically stole dollars from us and didnât even care. Cheri Lee One of the employees put both her hands up and looked at me and said oh well. I truly could not believe that an employee at a store would treat a customer like that and doesnât even care about her she acted. It was almost enjoyable to her to see that there was nothing we as a customer could have done to have a broken product come straight out of a bag and not be compensated. Shame on her and the other employees working there today who thought it was OK to treat people that way. They kept telling us that the product was used and that is why they couldnât exchange it but why did they not understand that the product was not used? Upon opening the umbrella and taking it out in the rain we discovered it was broken. They wouldnât even allow us to explain ourselves they just kept telling us they cannot accept anything that was already used. The young male cashier mentioned several times that we bought it the day before and how was he to know what we did with the umbrella from the day we bought it till the time we brought it back? How many people buy a product one day and use it that very same day? Most people do not do so and in this situation that was the case with us. There wasnât even one speck of sand on the item because it never even touched the sand. This was not used, like I said this was taken out on the beach in the rain for the first time where it got wet. We couldnât even keep it up because it was broken. I will be posting a bad review not only about this Wings location but of its employees as well on every social media outlet I can along with reporting them to the BBB. I wonder just how many customers like us have been treated so rudely and denied the chance to exchange a product that was broken even before it was purchased by an...
Read moreNot for the plus sized ladies. We ran in to grab a few things for my mom, who generally wears a size 18W. She wasn't with us because she'd had enough of the sun, but there was only one woman there that we could find and she had to stay behind the register. My eldest daughter asked her where the plus-sized options were for cover-ups and she told us that there were none at all, 0. I was standing right next to a rack with 4 arms that had plus-sized cover-ups, all the same cut, just different colors. That store is very large, I know, but it pays to know what merchandise you offer and to have it fully staffed, especially during the summer season. I had been standing at that rack, but looking for more and couldn't find any. I was also next to the only plus-sized options, which were mostly tankinis. My mom is 69. The 3 options for one-pieces were the same cut, different designs. I got worried because they looked small, so I got her, seriously, 22Ws. Yep. For a person who has been an 18W for years. They were B1G1 free, so I took 2 of them and a "cover-up." It was sleeveless mesh, so I didn't really count it as covering much of anything. I told the lady where the cover-ups were and she told me that the suits couldn't be returned. Cool. If anything, I thought they'd be slightly too large. Ha ha. No. Mom tried them on and they were so tight. 22Ws. She can wear an Old Navy XL bathing suit and be ok, and XXL and be super comfortable, yet couldn't wear these. So, beware curvy girls and women. There is little help, little selection, and you'd better try them on, but save yourself the trouble and head down to Walmart in Monkey Junction or somewhere...
Read moreThis place was pretty ridiculous. We bought a boogie board here that broke within five minutes of me using it. When I went in to take it back, with the receipt, they said they do not do beach returns. âIt says so on the receipt,â they told me. The problem is that you donât get a receipt until after you pay for it.
I asked if we could at least return it for store credit, and the guy at the front said no. I asked the manager and he held to his script: âall purchases are final.â
Since I had my kids with me, they were really excited to buy a few trinkets. We bought a necklace. As soon as we walked into the parking lot we realized the clasp was broken.
At this point, there was no way I was leaving with a broken necklace so the cashier didnât fight me on swapping it out.
But overall: cheap stuff, over priced, and zero customer service effort put in by the staff. Save your money...
