Mark Shepherd sent me a timely text message that he was on his way however I mentioned to their office that it was poring rain here. They had no problem adjusting the schedule a bit . Mark came to our home with a pleasant attitude and ready to work. We went over the two systems that we had and he thoroughly checked them out with complete servicing. He listened very carefully to us and had specific questions for us to answer. After answering him he figured out how to improve performance. He was always polite and very helpful. Excellent technician and would be glad to see him return.
Update- 10/1/20- Ron serviced our HVAC systems today. He was very professional and courteous as always. He inspected and serviced both of our units and made sure everything was working properly. He was here for quite a while to spend plenty of time for an in depth evaluation of both systems. He was able to answer our questions and provided additional thoughts on other things we can do to improve air quality in our home if we want to. He is an excellent employee for any company he would work for.
Update- 4/14/21-Robert serviced our HVAC systems today. He is a very pleasant and knowledgeable employee. He inspected, evaluated and cleaned both units and made sure all was functioning properly. Read moreContacted at 7:40am when we discovered AC went out overnight. Person on phone was courteous taking our info but couldn’t provide ETA or any info on when a technician could fit us in. I called again three hours later, talked with a different person, again could not get an ETA or guarantee of whether someone was even coming that day. Heard nothing for an hour, then received a text asking if I was available during a four hour window. I immediately replied and confirmed I could be available but asked if I could receive advance notice before the technician arrives. No response. I ended up calling another local company who was responsive and provided an ETA. Once they arrived, I texted to cancel this service call, and again received no response. 10 minutes later I finally get a text saying a technician is on the way, nearly 10 hours after I initially contacted them. I again texted to cancel and had to call to follow up. Not a good experience.
I recognize it is likely the busiest time of year for this industry, and I respect being very busy. However, lack of response and inability to provide any info regarding whether someone is even coming is unacceptable. We chose a coastal rated Rheem since we are oceanfront, usually a system on the beach may last 7 years, this one has a 10 year warranty. There was never any pressure on what to buy. One handshake and the deal was done, Danni in the office sent the quote and rebate savings info the next day and set up a date and time for removal and installation.
