I’m not a big reviewer because I don’t like bringing down businesses but this has to be heard. I’ve came here 4-5 times Food as always was amazing, coffee was great. The staff, not so much. The younger boy is always a pleasure to talk to. He is EXTREMELY kind, sensible and genuine. Goes to Ashley just like my daughter and plays multiple sports from what we have talked about #goeagles. My daughter, husband, and I absolutely love him. On the other hand the older male that works with him every weekend we go is HORRIBLY lazy, the past 2 times we have came there is atleast 3 family’s in the building the kid is greeting everyone with a smile trying his best to keep up while the older one is just laying on the floor with his vaping device and phone visibly using in his hand. There has been a time where the kid got visibly frustrated at the other and told him to get up and help, he went to the back after no longer than 5 minutes of making doughnuts for what we thought was grabbing something that was needed for the doughnuts. Only to find out he was doing the exact opposite. (we know this because we went back there to grab several tee shirts) seeing the supply door wide open and take a guess at what we saw. The coworker yet again just laying there on his phone ON THE FREEZER. The kid handles the amount of people extremely well, takes him about 20-30m to help out 3-5 family’s. I will say the other times where the younger kid has a different coworker it takes them no longer than 10 minutes with one handling donuts, the other ice cream. I feel absolutely horrible for the child because I am sure the older guy is the “manager” figure of the shift. We need to get this to the head of beach break donuts because in my eyes this is totally unfair.

All and All the place, food, and drinks are to die for. Will always...

Ladies and gentlemen, donut enthusiasts, and sugar- fueled dreamers, I am here today to bring you the most highly anticipated, deeply investigative, and completely premature review of Beach Break donuts, a soon-to-open establishment that has already taken my imagination (and my stomach) hostage.

Now, I must confess- I have not tasted a single donut. The doors remain firmly locked, the fryers are cold, and the “Grand Opening Soon!” sign has been flapping in the wind for what feels like centuries (but is probably just a week). And yet, my excitement is unwavering. Why? Because everything about this place screams legendary.

The Donuts (In My Imagination)

While I have not physically consumed a donut from beach break Donuts, I have mentally devoured at least a dozen. I imagine their signature “Heavenly Glaze” donut will taste like a cloud personally blessed by a pastry-loving angel. Their “Sinfully Chocolate” donut? So decadent, you’ll have to confess after eating it. And let’s not forget the “Mystery Hole” donut-what’s inside? Jelly? Custard? A portal to another dimension? Only time will tell.

The Customer Service (Hypothetically Speaking)

The staff, whom I have not yet met, seem like the friendliest people on Earth. I can just picture it now—smiling faces handing me a warm, delicious donut, welcoming me like an old friend who has just returned from war (or, in this case, a long journey through subpar donut shops).

Final Thoughts

Despite not actually being open, beach break Donuts has already captured my heart and raised my expectations to dangerous levels. If the donuts are even half as good as the ones in my dreams, this place will be epic. If they are not… well, I will still come back, because I have emotionally committed to this relationship, and I...

From the time you walk in until the time you leave, you feel extremely well taken care of and appreciated. The workers are absolutely amazing, helpful and kind in every way possible. The donuts are hands down the best donuts I’ve ever had, aside from a place that is over an hour away from where I actually live at. They are fresh, warm and made perfectly. The young man with the hat who made my coffee today was extremely helpful and willing to take the time to make certain I got what I paid for. The iced coffee he made was the absolute best coffee I’ve ever had!!! I am not even exaggerating! It was perfect and exactly how I envisioned it to taste. The young lady (with the glasses) that greets you as you first walk in could not be any sweeter and amazing if she tried. My husband and son really appreciated you both as well. If we decide to come back, we will definitely be back :) Thank you again for everything!

To the guy working tonight (07/01) making the donuts, thank you soooo much everything!! You’re so kind as well. My little family and I appreciate you.

I wanted to update and say thank you so much to the blonde headed girl with really bright white teeth and the girl with awesome piercings for being...

My husband were visiting for a long weekend and after reading the reviews thought we would try this local spot. I’m gluten free so it’s always exciting when a bakery has some gluten free options. We came at noon and no one was there so, we decided to do some other things and come back. We came in around 2 and were told that everything we wanted was going to take about 20 minutes. We didn’t mind waiting but the guy behind the counter was not very friendly. I ordered two gluten free donuts and my husband ordered one normal. We ended up with 1 gluten free and two normal and were told they didn’t have any more gluten free. He ended up not charging us for the donuts and I’m so glad we didn’t pay for them. The outside of the boxes were smeared in sauce. We got a soupy mess of chocolate sauce and sprinkles on top of a really tough donut. Neither one of us finished our donuts.

Beach Break is exactly what Carolina Beach needed—a fun, flavorful spot that totally delivers on the name. The donuts were next-level: soft, fresh, and full of creative toppings that feel like a vacation for your taste buds. You walk in and instantly get that chill, beachy vibe like you’ve discovered a locals-only treasure. The menu is stacked, so be ready to make some tough decisions. I’m already planning my return trip just to dive into the ice cream side of things. If you’re anywhere near Carolina Beach, this place should be on your radar. It’s not just a sweet treat—it’s an experience.
